We’re pleased to announce a new collaborative album in conjunction with Bigo & Twigetti. ‘The Exquisite Corpse’ is based on the surrealist game of the same name. Taking Leah Kardos 'Little Phase' as it's starting point, the piece will be reworked by a series of composers and producers to create an album of tracks which continually evolve as each new version is passed from one artist to another, adding to and transforming material from the original piece. We'll be releasing a new track from the album every 2-3 weeks with the first track due towards the end of October and the full album available in April 2017 so keep an eye on our social media for updates.

Not Home may seem an unusual choice of single from Anne Garner’s upcoming album Lost Play but there’s precious little that is conventional about this singer-songwriter. Fans of her strange, seductive melancholy will be beguiled once again by the song’s signature union of disembodied sadness and reassuring intimacy. Warm waves of electric guitar and synthesiser cradle glitchy, restless percussives, the soaring silvered pedal steel of Jack Hayter (Hefner, Dollboy) and a lyrical message both beautiful and hard to hear.

A little ambient piece I wrote yesterday afternoon.. Sorry not to have so much time for composing music until July, but I really wanted to share something with you in a little free time from my studying.

I always thought of ambient music as a way to effectively depict soundscapes with notes and musical colors (frequencies, tones, silences).

I’ll listen to this with closed eyes and I’ll see sounds painting a landscape in the imaginary space. Like emerging from the deepness of your thoughts, and sorrounding you with its presence, because it's you who has been creating it. Music conceals places in its notes.

I called that place "The wastelands", a distant landscape brought back to our time for a little moment, as it were while the wind blew in the cloudy sky and the sun set over the horizon of the open fields.

Just like a dream, at the end you open your eyes and there's no trace left, if not a subtle sensation of having been there, somewhere, sometime...
