A crossbreeding duet of ethnic-organic, world/latin/western, acoustic- electronic music.
thds is a collaboration between introverted Belgian-Portuguese composer ‘Raoul’ and extroverted Belgian-Colombian singer ‘Pierre’. Growing up in the same Jesuit forest school, they have developed an antagonist but creative brotherhood. Being influenced by their own cultural roots, they harmoniously combine acoustic and electronic music with organic world music.
The duet is obsessed with the simplicity of life and it is noticeable in their music. The will is to reduce superficiality to quintessence: life, nature, truth. This goal is well symbolized in their imagery reduced to a simple leaf. In their experimentation there is a real try to express something personal about happiness, ecology and multiculturalism.

The virtuoso trumpet, the fragrances of the dub and Johann's Balkan twist together with the addictive, tribal & ceremonial rhythm of Nadav, gave birth to 'The landing'. In different times this creation would be played on every downtempo gathering on the globe. This splendid collab contains a deep and profound beat, mind-blowing melodies, and lots of joy.
