Time is the continued sequence of existence and events that occurs in an apparently irreversible succession from the past, through the present, into the future. We humans have found nifty ways to define and help us understand it. Yet everyone's perception of this strange thing is unique.

Time dissolves into oblivion, if someone pushes "play" on the right track at the right place and time. Well, not too long ago the universe pushed a monumental pause button causing time and with it life on earth to freeze - but: our hearts never did.

We kept them in a safe place. And now a new summer is here, one that invites the dancing feet back to the places we hold so dearly.

Castle of Illusion is part of "A Mirror For The Sun" compilation of pieces, which strive for no less than be the soundtrack that awakens our spirits, now that the big play button has finally been pushed.

K-os Theory and SIAAH are making their debut on Sirin Music together with “Del Nava” EP. What do two artists coming from different countries and cultures have in common? Their roots lie in local ethnic and folk sounds, which mix perfectly with Melodic House, DownTempo and all other gentle and slow electronica. Both tracks from the release are a perfect example of the concept and was recorded in collaboration with another two artists —  Vale is featured on “Del Nava” and Lora Ute is on “Farda”

SIAAH is a producer, DJ and Audio Engineer, who was born in Tehran, Iran, and now lives in Berlin. His tracks are touched and inspired by the Persian folk music. Since 2010, when the artist started his music career, he played piano and setar, has been an audio engineer and finished at SAE in Berlin, and created his own music, obviously. SIAAH’s approach to music production is using ambient sounds as a foundation for building grooves. That helps him to express his feelings and mood through his music. 

Parth Mehta, known by his artist name, K-os Theory is a non-conformist & passionate music producer from Mumbai, India. He loves experimenting and creating fusions with ethnic Indian, African, Arabic elements with more modern sounds. His music has brought him global recognition after releases on labels such as Pipe & Pochet, Lump Records, Shango Records, Traum Schallplaten, Wood, Bullfinch, Patent Skillz Records, Egothermia Records, 238W, Groove9 Records and many others.

Soul of Void is an electronic music project from St. Petersburg, Russia started by Alexey Izotov in 2017 to find his very own sound on a contemporary dance music scene. Heading from Offenbach to the world, Rey&Kjavik‘s soundscape has left a tremendous impression in the electronic music scene ever since his first productions were released on Kindisch/Get Physical back in 2012. Further EPs and remixes on RKJVK, Exploited or Compost followed and marked an unrivaled time. Nevertheless, the Frankfurt native is ready to leave his musical but not personal past behind to look forward and create and shape a new era in house music with the release of his upcoming mystic and spiritual debut album „Rkadash“. Touring North America in 2015 established the basis for a more emotional approach to music that also originates in Rey&Kjavik‘s groundbreaking experience when playing „The Kazbah“ at Burning Man for the first time. With that in mind he started to capture the spirit and unique atmosphere in tones. But it was a gig at Indigo in Instanbul and an extended stay at the Bosporus that pieced the puzzle together and helped Rey&Kjavik to finalize the album. „Rkadash“ tells a story, a story of a nomad in the contemporary world diving deep into the Orient, riding the dunes in the desert and finding peace through musical freedom. It is the story of a journey and the further development of Rey&Kjavik‘s music. So it is no surprise that the album is considered as the follow up sound of his most successful record „Baba City“. The 10-tracker from one of the fastest rising artists in the scene proves that in order to achieve greatness one must accept responsibility and leave the comfort zone.
