Valhalla VA - ASCND001

This week on Valhalla we have Oots. Oots also known as Kyle, is a 22 year old Producer/DJ from Naarm / Melbourne, Australia. 

Oots burst onto the scene in early 2020 releasing 2 edits and 2 hard-hitting original tracks that have not gone unnoticed. His edits of Headie One and Skepta’s “Back to Basics” and Travis Scott’s “90210” are both pillar tracks reflecting the sound that he possesses. 
Oots has big plans for 2021 including an EP, along with a load of banging edits that he has been able to play at clubs over in Australia. Keep a close eye on Oots as he is one to watch.

Amraks is an Australian Dj and producer, based in Canberra who has been working
in the music scene for several years. The 21 year old has supported artists such
as, Kettama, Skin On Skin, Willaris K, Route 8 and many more during their
interstate and Australian tours at numerous Canberra venues. Showcasing a
mixture of synth heavy melodic breakbeat mixed with hard hitting house, Amraks
sets are not to be missed. As well as supporting big artists Amraks has also ran
and curated a number of successful, large events featuring incredible local talent.
Coming off the back of feature mixes for 'FBI Radio’ and Canberras ‘Canberra
House Social’ and the release of a remix of Jacques Greenes track ‘Serenity’,
Amraks is set to release his Debut Ep in the coming months.

Time in Lieu is a 21 year old DJ & producer from Melbourne, Australia. 

Time in Lieu has been performing at various clubs in Melbourne for just over three years & has been releasing his own music for the last two years. 

Recently, he has released three songs on the popular Soundcloud label, HOUZ, which have allowed him to expand his audience.

As a result of this, one of Time in Lieu’s originals, ‘More Than’, was recently included in Disclosure’s official Spotify artist playlist.

Time in Lieu’s mix on Valhalla consists of an hour of fast & hard tracks which keep the energy up from start to finish.

You’ll hear tracks from artists such as Mall Grab, Ejeca, Ewan McVicar & a few unreleased tracks from Time in Lieu.

Born and raised in Cairo, ZEYAD entered the electronic party scene in 2017 with an enthusiasm for minimal, house, and techno. A year later, he began working with boogie platform Desimana as a party promoter, which led him to promoting for Glasshouse, Outside, Jellyzone, Funkhaus, and even our own Noise Sessions.

Somewhere in between then and now, ZEYAD began mixing, practicing through the Strictly Vinyl course with Ahmed Samy in 2019, as his love for minimal and house made way for the fast-paced bounciness of electro and breaks.

Since appearing on the scene in 2018, 21 year old False Persona has been pushing aggressive, high energy electro and techno non-stop for the most part of 3 years.

Although a fresh face, the Bournemouth-based producer has been self taught music production and DJing since the age of 13, and after spending years learning the crafts of different styles of music under a multitude of aliases, his sound as an artist definitely serves as a hybrid of genres.

With tracks on labels such as International Chrome, Typeless, Dionysian Mysteries and more over the past couple of years, False Persona has a lot of exciting bits on the way to keep your eyes peeled for...

Valhalla Radio: 002 - Reformist

WAVE TRAX, formally known as Tiernan Hughes is a 20-year-old DJ currently situated in Liverpool. In his brief career as a DJ, he has already supported artists like Paddy Chambers and Quinton Campbell and has gained attention for his punchy and up-beat house tracks he has produced in the past. He has recently started running his own event in Liverpool with a few friends. 'Reakt Events' offers a blend of disco, house and minimal their launch party is scheduled for the 9th October.

Sons Of Charlie are a DJ duo based in Cork, Ireland.

The group comprises of Colin Devine and Donnacha Gutteridge from Galway, Ireland. As childhood friends and schoolmates, they always had a keen interest in electronic music and this continued into their teenage years. They began releasing music together in 2018 and quickly broke 1 million plays on Soundcloud, with their music receiving support from Irish and international artists.

Tracks such as 'So Sublime' and 'Give Me' have been huge hits for the lads, garnering over 400,000 plays between them. Their straight-forward, hard-hitting brand of electronic music continues to smash dancefloors across Ireland and worldwide.

GES a 21 year old DJ & producer from Galway, Ireland and  is rapidly making a name for himself in the industry. GES is well known  for his high energy productions such as System Addict and Not Ideal to name a few. Gaining support from various artists pre lockdown would suggest that the future for GES is bright. Keep your eyes peeled for his third EP which will drop this year.

21-Year old Kapri-Sun has been no stranger to the Underground house and Irish house scene from his premieres on Moskalus in 2018 to his popular releases on promotion & label , HOUZ , having received support from greatness like Patrick Topping & a handful of other iconic figures in the industry. His recent tracks have broadened the versatility of his music , recently releasing a 4 track EP with GES earlier this year. His hour mix depicts some of his lesser known tracks & upcoming work during the pandemic , covering a vast amount of the house & electronic genre.

Jesse Santos is a rising DJ from Sunderland, surrounded by music as she grew up it is no surprise that in her late teens she has been a dancefloor resident which is where she fell even more in love with music. She is now expanding her love for the scene by mixing tracks, she now has mix releases on Unite Radio and with much planned she is definitely a talent to be recognized.

Since starting his career in 2019, the last two years have been exceptional for jxck. From playing all over the Ireland, such towns and cities as Galway, Navan, Dublin, Belfast and much more along with headlining shows across the waters in the mainland - Lancaster, Manchester and Austria.

He has previous releases out on Doubleu, Berlin House Music, Genesis, Houz & Doing The Damage and his productions have been making some serious waves. His tracks have been gaining huge support from the likes of KETTAMA, Endor, Friend Within and Cloonee just to name a few.

Jxck's love and thrive for feel good beats and rhythms sums up his character, style and will certainly be putting his name on the map for the near future.
