Really fine composition and performance. Certainly moves in areas outside much of your latest work that I've heard. Love the lazy feel of those woodwinds. Interesting musical switch around 5:00 taking it into fantasyland.

"Where  Water Flows"

"Where Water Flows" opens with a deep, resonant tom drum roll, setting the stage for a rich, evocative piano chord sequence. A soulful female voice hums, weaving through the air like a gentle current. The electric guitar soon takes the lead, its improvisations dancing atop the steady piano chords. As the progression evolves into a series of intricate, chromatic jazz chords, the guitar melody soars. The arrival of a bluesy tenor sax adds a moody, melodic depth, before the piece concludes with the same chromatic chords and a high, poignant guitar line, echoing the fluidity and movement of water.

"Winds"
Valhjim

"Winds" opens with a haunting melody that floats through a landscape of echoes and unusual spaces. The song soon unfolds into arpeggiated electric guitar chords that gently waver, creating a shifting foundation. 

A pan flute weaves its melody over the guitar, its notes transformed by flangers and effects into a constantly morphing soundscape. A girl's voice enters, carrying a melody that leads into an electric guitar solo, rich with a sense of yearning. 

The piece closes with an intimate exchange between the girl's voice and the guitar, their melodies intertwining in delicate dialogue.

while the soft breeze the bough leaves kisses
with its wet lips. 

I inhale the scent, feel the drops
upon my skin, listen to the sound on the dry
leaves and the damp earth.

O gentle rain, wrap me up in your gentle
streams and your ecstatic sound, fill my lungs
with your cool scent, bring my soul 

to peace and joy.

I wake up to birdsong and rose skies—
the breeze cool, the day still opening
like a flower. 

The dew of dawn still in the air, and 
the scent of last night's rain on damp earth
and the bark of trees. The sun shows 

a friendly face, indisposed apparently
to scorch the world today. 

I  take a sip of coffee and play a sequence
of notes on the keyboard.—a perfect melody
to blossom like the day. 

All is well. I am content.

Sultry night in the desert,
the heat of the sun is gone,
and myriad stars are visible
in the boundless dome of the sky

the wind tells its tales of long ago,
of caravans and sultans and a girl
with long hair and fair face
weaving stories for a man in the night;

perhaps somebody is telling 
our stories in the night somewhere—

tales equally magic and fantastic
like the tales the girl tells the sultan.
