Really fine piece... captures this politically foreboding spring well...

A very immersive track.  I enjoyed reading the poetry as I listened.  The music is loaded with tension, like the struggle between seasons as things shift.  At the conclusion, a hint of light and warmth.

For whom the bells toll..... The poem is simply beautiful. The music is all empowering, mysterious and magnificent in every way. This needs to be listened to, eyes closed, with headphones on - loud!  I love the influences of the maestros of yester year - ie Justin Hayward/Moody Blues, Genesis, David Gilmour/Pink Floyd, Pete Townsend/The Who, Yes etc, forgive me if I'm completely wrong, the music took me there.  Brilliant and stunning work - thank you!

Night recedes. Cold Winter warms up
to a new Dawn. Over the eastern rim,
Aurora spreads her mantle of pink, 

while, with her gentle thaw, Spring dissolves
the last remnants of ice from valley and hill, 
mountain wood and rocky cliff.

From the earth, new life springs—twigs, 
grass, bushes, flowers—there’s birdsong 
in the leaves of trees—all creatures, big

Already, Flora dons her outfit of garlands

It Delights me to celebrate the 8th birthday of one of my eldest 'Musical Children'.  Her name is 'Tiramisu'.  Pronounced - Tear - Ah - Mih - Su 

In foodie talk, her name alludes to what one might call a 'Pick-Me-Up'.  ;-)
I named her after the delicious Italian Dessert made of Lady Fingers, Custard, Hazelnuts, and Chocolate!  MMM mnm mm .  

May She "Live Long and Prosper" !

It's a Big Band orchestral Fusion piece with all kinds of delicious phrases, sounds and rhythms within it. Composed over 2 months in 2016 on Saturna Island here, it has some 24 layered tracks, and i trust you'll find it a surprising change from the simple but passionate organic improvs i've been posting lately.  :-D
