The EP closes with Saviour where more chopping rhythms dance with floating atmospherics and classic vocal stabs. SMOOTH N GROOVE RECORDS - #159 - [Recorded Live On Future Sounds Radio] - 19th May 2024

"Outer Reaches, Vol.1" is the first in a mix series by Hospital Records maestro Polaris, and Fokuz Recordings artist Valiant Emcee. Their friendship blossomed as they bonded over their mutual love of classic atmospheric drum-n-bass, as well as much of the current deep and liquid flavors. Their objective was to celebrate DnB from the past 25 years without being an "old school" mix, or a chronology. Musically, they masterfully captured a sound that is simultaneously a love letter to Logical Progression/Progression Sessions, and to deep drum-n-bass in general, while serving as a mission statement for the two going forward.
