A few years of explorations, with the endless language of music, and sound, gave Vallou the possibility to share a free expression of his subconscious to the world. Expect sweet, and emotional, Downtempo and Chilled tunes that manage to touch the listener in a positive way.
Although, the tracks contain a bit of melancholia; but hope and heroic melodies are triumphant - giving a bit of fuel for the heart. 
Vallou is a fresh project, new to Mindspring, and our team was thrilled to find it on a rainy day. A rainbow of deep emotions connected our paths. And, it has led us to this exciting day, when such purifying music sees light, and is shared with the global community.

"Life is a great adventure, full of challenging moments that we must face and accept. We must continually move forward to realize our dreams. This is the result and the message of this album. For this new chapter, Mystic Choices, Vallou has again created a beautiful piece of art by sharing his personal therapy with the world. He reaches to explain these feelings about the mysteries of life that we cannot translate with words, by using the universal language of sound frequencies and emotions in an attempt to bring us a bit closer to understanding these divine mysteries.
This album goes deep into our minds and our hearts. It helps to process our past paths with powerful melodies and basslines that gives us the strength to reflect on the choices we make while on the journey of life, reaching a better future. With this release, he wants to remind you that each of our decisions is crucial for our life and for the people around you. That we have to listen to the mystic force of life, that has always been in you and will be guiding your path to your best version of yourself.
The artwork has been specially painted for this album by the sweet Anaël Azuria. It resonates a lot with the personal path of Vallou in life, sometimes feeling alone into a vast and beautiful universe, reaching deep into himself to share his light with the world.

You will hear in track 4, “Ce Rêve”, some beautiful Hanpan’s sounds recorded with Pascal Sudinger (aka Pantrix), with the voice of Olivia Brunet.
And in track 5, “Laniakea”, you will again find the beautiful french words of Olivia Brunet to guide your journey, taken from a conference she has done under Tribal Garden’s dome at Spiritus Silvam Festival 2022.

I’m really happy and emotional to share with you this remix of a beautiful song, Plastic 100°C by @samphamusic !

Working on this was very important for me, it is a tribute and a personal message for my friend Chloé who left our physical world 2 years ago for another place that we can't visit, probably chilling somewhere close to Paradise.
This song was one of her favorite and she was singing it and playing it on piano.

It was like a therapy for me to work on that one, and it feel like I had no other choice. It help accepting the situation and honor it with all my heart and soul, to make it something beautiful.

I hope I will not have copyright problems or anything, I've try to reach Sampha and his management just to tell the story and my intension, and why it’s important for me to share this remix to the world, but not responses, maybe one day. 
It is not a commercial thing by any mean, just a beautiful song I want to share with you for free.

I’ve used one of Sampha’s live performance with only voice and piano, then added a bit of drums, a nice sub bass, some little synths, and then also sample the original song, add a little bit of magic and this is the result after almost 2 years of work and reflections on this one !

Love Is Home

Vallou is a young producer from France, his music is a very personal and emotional journey inspired by nature, spirituality and various music genders from Bass Music, to Techno, Downtempo and the Psychedelic world. His first album was released on Mindspring Music last year and plan for a second one by the end of 2022.

He is also part of the Tribal Garden crew, creating Chillout and social spaces where people can relax, have a talk with each other, while a good line up of artists is playing some beautiful music.

I'm slowly coming down from the magical experience of my set played from 4 to 6am the last night on the beautiful chillout stage at @hadratrancefestival 2024.
Now it's been few years I’m mixing psychedelic bass and chillout music in a lot of different places, and  for this last gig of a big summer I went to play this one with no pressure like if I was at home, just assembled few of my favorite "ambient" tracks 2 days before and .... wooah ... what a surprise, this set was magical, and from far my best experience as an artist so far !

Of course, this is Hadra Festival ... a very big and well knowed gathering of psychedelic music bringing a lot of very cool people, and I've just realized when I was playing this set that all my work and efforts these last years to share good music and the chillout vibe the best I can, lead me here ... under a dome full of people deeply touch by each track of the set, a true connection with the crowd, living this moment at 300% together, a message from the heart shared.

I was so happy and proud with myself to have the chance of sharing this journey with you, doing my best to tell my inner experiences of life that you will interpret to yours through this music that talk for itself 🙏

VAllOU DJ Set @Hadra Trance Festival 2024

This summer I had the chance to play my music on different festivals across France (~ Music Magic Medecine ~ Les Sables Electroniques ~ Espiritu Libre ~ Nataraja ~ Spiritus Silvam ~) adapting my setlist and improving my setup each one of them for a bit more midi controls and FX, while taking the step to add an evolutive synth to play and improvise on top of a kind of modular Ableton DJ Set.

So here is my last and best live of the summer (with few post-corrections), recorded at @hadratrancefestival 2024 from 5 to 6:30am on Saturday morning at the « Cocoon » stage, with the beautiful Laurène and Charly (@lumireel ~ @lypnox on IG) dancing with the flow and Victoire Cartagena (Tikal) to capture this moment 🙏💙

On the 27 of August 2020, from 4am until the sun rise up, I recorded this totally improvised selecta mix at the nice spot of the Psychaledelic organized by my friends, with a super cool mapping installation made and animated by Ju My, in the middle of the beautifull hills of Auvergne (France).

This was a long adventure understanding and learning my own path to express myself, and this one is a very sweet and sentimental album made for people I love, loved and will love. It is made to be a good companion when you need it, a musical friend that can help you to go through difficult times.

A few years of explorations, with the endless language of music, and sound, gave Vallou the possibility to share a free expression of his subconscious to the world. Expect sweet, and emotional, Downtempo and Chilled tunes that manage to touch the listener in a positive way. Although, the tracks contain a bit of melancholia; but hope and heroic melodies are triumphant - giving a bit of fuel for the heart. Vallou is a fresh project, new to Mindspring, and our team was thrilled to find it on a rainy day. A rainbow of deep emotions connected our paths. And, it has led us to this exciting day, when such purifying music sees light, and is shared with the global community. A message from Valérian: Life is a great adventure, full of challenging moments that we must face and accept. We must continually move forward to realize our dreams. This is the result and the message of this album. This work is dedicated to my friend, Chloé, who was always the first to hear these songs and support me. This is my praise for her, may she hear it on the other side.

Vallou is a producer and DJ from France, involved in the underground psychedelic and chillout scene. He explores a wide range of sounds, with his own productions born of a very personal alchemy, in which his emotions and inspirations have infused, and with progressive DJ sets navigating between various styles and textures.

After 2 albums on Mindspring Music and releases on various compilations, his music has been discovered and resonated internationally, sharing universal emotions and stories that awaken memories of our life journeys.

Each piece is a piece of his story told with a powerful gentleness, that allows us to dive deep inside ourselves, to look at and accept our past, to give us the strength to move forward.
