Marcal is back for round two on Dustin Zahn’s Enemy Records with “Cyber Dystopia.” Marcal’s trademark grooves and clever vocal processing make this one of his most exciting and hypnotic records yet. It’s pure class…there isn’t much else to say!

BUT we have to try anyway…
“Cyber Dystopia” starts off with Bionic Jungle, a trippy peak time roller sprinkled with uh, lifeforms or something? We haven’t been able to identify them, which is just proof that Marcal is living on another planet we haven’t been to yet. We’re standing by for the invite.

Moravex’s Paradox picks up where Bionic Jungle left off…chugging along in his signature style. It’s loopy. It’s tooly…but still heavy on the grooves, making it a perfect fit in deep and peak time sets alike.

Nothing About the United States hits a little harder and darker. Dissonant drones and catchy sound design take over, flipping the switch from “party” to “punish.” For fans of his recent track on Enemy, “Never Wrote This.”

Don’t Fear the Three is a classic Marcal percussive workout in heads-down mode. It’s as equally powerful as every other track on the record.

“Cyber Dystopia” is all about the world we are living in right now: artificial intelligence, smart houses, smartphones, self-driving cars, deepfakes, fake news, cybernetic warfare, metaverse, social networks, the internet of things, machine learning, virtual reality...
We are definitely entering a new stage of civilization, the post-modern era.
But,
Are we living an 'apocalypse of self-abdication' already? Or we are, as humans, simply evolving as technology evolves? There will ever be a limit to technology? Will it help as much it can also destruct?

A name that has become synonymous with club driven techno in recent years, and armed with a catalogue of classy techno to show for it, German native Phil Berg steps up to leave his mark on the SK_X series with the ‘Raid’ EP.
The title track leads the 20th instalment of the SK_X series with an assortment of growling basslines, rolling percussion and rising synth-lines. ‘Y-Axis’ concludes the A side with a hypnotic synth groove complimented by an eerie atmosphere and texture throughout. The flip side breaks with ‘Kamino’, a dark affair packed with punchy kick drums, plucky bass and rhythmic percs. The record resolves with ‘Sinara’, a euphoric journey consisting of lush pads and rattling tones for its duration.

Abstraction is an undeground techno label from Cuba that has been releasing quality music since 2017, listing tracks and remixes by Bas Mooy, Arnaud Le Texier, Temudo, Vegim and many more.

CMRK has exclusively appeared on Smashead Records also known as SMSH until now, and and the Lithuanian talent has put together a collection of five new original works on his new and debut EP for Abstraction.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "Bonfire Torture" which begins with a pumping and vigorous energy. Frantic clap patterns and tribal hits are met with a rising siren-like synth that becomes the hypnotic draw, fading down and becoming more prominent in cyclical waves for a raw, percussive workout.
