Es un honor y un placer recibir a Parissior en Selectadanz. El cántabro es el responsable de Espacio Cielo, un sello que irrumpió con fuerza en la escena electrónica el pasado 2020, dotándola de frescura y calidez con su arrebatador dark disco, slow techno y synthwave.
Es el hogar de artistas como el también madrileño Javier Busto, protagonista de una de sus más recientes referencias, Modernphase, Alex Aguayo, Azaria, Celestino, Uises Arrieta & Javier Martínez o el propio Parissio, que también publica en multitud de sellos internacionales y locales. 
Nos ha regalado una maravillosa sesión a golpe de new, old y cold wave, electrónica de hoy y ayer para sibaritas. Bienvenido a la familia querido. 

BIO:
Jesús Aparicio is a Spanish DJ and producer who has published music continuously and under different aliases since 2004.

In 2012 he began producing music under the alias “Parissior“,influenced by a mix of funk, italo-disco, New wave, electro, industrial, letfield styles … Since then he has placed several numbers one in digital sales (Junodownload), and has remixed large producers of these styles, as “Dj Rocca”, "Tronik Youth", "Shubostar", "Daniel Monaco", "Moo Moonster", “Rayko”, “K-Effect“, "Jason Peters", bands like “We Are Standard / WAS”, being remixed too by names like “Freudenthal“, “MAN2.0”, “Franz Scala”, “Julian Sanza”, “Fingerman” or “Celestino” to name few.

In 2020 he releases his own label: "Espacio Cielo", in which he explores styles such as synthwave, acid house, retro & future disco and the styles that have most influenced him as a DJ.

Kid Machine is a producer based in Manchester. He broke on to the scene with his now-classic “Replicants” EP on the mighty Viewlexx in 2012, which led to him regularly touring the festivals and clubs of Europe ever since.

Heavily influenced by the '80s Synth music, especially Italo Disco, New Beat, Synthpop, and Electro, you can find him releasing on Manchester’s Red Laser and labels across the globe. Most recently he’s had albums and EPs on Aspecto Humano and Libertine from Barcelona and Berlin respectively.

Bergamo-based label PHO BHO lands for the first time on our platform, peeps! This is also the first time they release a compilation: Featuring thirteen tracks, “Pho Beat Bazar Vol. 1” embodies the classical atmosphere you breathe in an Asian Market, a jumbled stand where whoever is patient enough to root around can find the oddest goods. The EP depicts a shared virtual place where different artists – including a couple of our favourites amidst the so-called Dark Disco/Indie Dance scene: A-Tweed (SXDNS222/FREEDL029) and Radial Gaze – come close together through the power of music.

The piece we chose to review/premiere, "Rovine Circolari", is one of those tracks that you cannot define either the genre or BPM so easily: If you consider its speed is only 99 BPMs, then you can label it as a Cold Wave-influenced tune and close your eyes while immersing into the gloomy trip it intends to lead you to; however, if your body craves to dance to it as if its pace were 199 BPMs, then you are facing a dangerous Gabber-infused theme. 

The mastermind behind such cool weirdness is Florence-based Matteo Mugnai aka Nero Zang, a young and creative artist part of the Tropical Animals collective. According to Matteo himself, his work can be described as “music from the fourth world, a psychedelic path among primitive exotic rhythms and cosmic explorations”. The kid definitely likes to think out of the box.
