Essex boys Jack Pike and Jake Hicks have been making music together since they were teenagers. Meeting in secondary school they realised their shared love of Drum & Bass and set to work. Their output on Program and Viper in previous years has seen them garner support from big names in the scene and we are happy to have them on Soulvent releasing a continual stream of bangers. ‘Say No More’ follows up previous 2025 singles ‘Jynx‘ and ‘Restless’ and brings forth even more techy goodness.
 
‘Say No More’ kicks off with a bubbling, tumbling synth pattern which is quickly backed by driving percussion and sensual female vocals, building the tension as the soundscape grows. The drop brings in a veritable arsenal of bassweight, with wobbles, big sweeping sub hits and percussive grunts galore, keeping the energy undeniably high throughout the duration of the tune. 

Landing in all good stores on Friday the 29th of August, we rest our case - grab ‘Say No More’ pronto!

Nicholas Kyasima is situated in the legal world although, every now and then he enters the world of Drum-and-Bass where his tracks are known to be post-apocalyptically enthusiastic. Music coming from Nicholas Kyasima can only be defined as a substance having no pharmacological effect but given merely to satisfy a patient who supposes it to be a medicine. Basically, a placebo.
