Pad is the result of a collaboration between spoken word artist Shari Klein and Dwaalgast.

They have been friends for years; after Shari started writing (erotic) poems in the summer of 2020, the idea arose to get into the studio and immerse Shari's lyrics in the sounds of Dwaalgast.

The result is an EP with stories about connecting, going deep and the moon. About letting go and thinking about what matters. Pad gives Dutch spoken word a new spirit: where music, audio collage and words come together in a new way. She takes you to dark nights, sweaty armpits and long paths that you still seek to walk.

27 Clubs in Amsterdam alleen al, stukkie geschiedenis op een vierkwartsmaat. 

De Nacht Stond Op, het was mooi, heel emotioneel en o zo nodig.
