I completely forgot about this competition until like 4 days before the deadline so it's been a journey getting this track done to say the least. The last few days have been crazy thanks to @sharksgd and @skybreakofficial, and I'm really happy with what I managed to create in this time!

Surprise! I'm back with a fresh, new EP for ya!

Starting off with one of my personal favorite tunes to date: AQUASHIFT with @CURE97. This song's just 3 and a half minutes of pure fun and sound design flexing, and I'm so excited to play this for crowds soon!

Unity EP, to me, represents the Unity of nature and technology. This theme spawned from a compromise of branding. Heaven Sent’s branding is very technological, with their iconic mech and gundem designs. The Skybreak project is more natural and organic, branded around deer, forests, auroras and nature as a whole. This forced us to find a halfway point, and working within this restriction yielded some pretty interesting results.

It’s a theme I’ve been wanting to pull off for a while, but I think the concept shines through especially well here. I also wanted to use this amazing outlet that SLANDER has given me to showcase some of my favorite up and coming talent, so 4 out of the 5 tracks on here are collaborations.

Guess who's back?! I would like to apologize greatly for my absence for the past 6 months but I promise to start uploading more as soon as Highschool, my imposter syndrome, and writer's block stop screwing me over. This song took over 36hrs to produce and another 2-3hrs to master(which could still use some work in the future) and although this song was denied by rushdown, in the end I am extremely happy about this release. On their way to the Castle Of Crystallia, Quartzone and Chalcelle walked through Mooth, the capital of the kingdom, a town on the coast of an estuary that extended from the surrounding mountains to merge with an unseen sea.

The town was ancient, built around a church with 2 towers, one of them strangely unfinished.
After exploring the place a bit, they arrived at the square in front of the famous church.

I’ve only seen Mooth from the Forest I grew up in, that plain mountain. It looked so small from there… - Chalcelle said.

Lately I’ve been feeling familiar with all of these landscapes, since I woke up in Gaia… And I can’t recall anything. - Quartzone replied and Chalcelle gave him a sad look. - I guess it’s fun to discover all this with you now. - Quartzone finished his sentence and Chalcelle smiled at him sweetly.

While crossing the bridge that led to the Castle, the couple heard a crystalline noise. They inmediately knew it was coming from the weapon of a bear, species known for being the masters of crystals. The sound was coming from their back. When they turned their heads to see, they were right. A gray-ish purple female bear looked at them with an evil smile. She had a huge ponytail, an earring on her right ear and was wearing a red cape, as well as a red necklace. Her physical look was oddly similar to Quartzone.

Wow! Isn’t that Quartzone the Scarf Hero? Oh good that I finally found you. - Her voice had a burlesque tone.

Instead of asking the common question of “Who are you?” that Quartzone just went for a “What do you want?”, tired of his loss of memory.

Oh sweetie, you don’t know what happened to the ones like us, do you? - The purple bear asked. She then looked at Chalcelle. - I guess your friend wasn’t really interested in telling you. - She laughed.

Chalcelle looked away.

As a bear you should know it, right Chalcelle? Didn’t your “parents” tell you about it? - The earring bear sounded like she knew exactly who they were. Why don’t you explain it so Quartzone can understand? He has the right to know it! - She didn’t let Chalcelle answer. She materialized a giant amethyst sword and pointed at the ribbon bear. - Weeell I guess there’s no chance.

They were… - Chalcelle felt tears running down her eyes. She didn’t want to make Quartzone suffer more than what he was already suffering, but as the purple bear said, she had no chance, and he had the right to know the truth. - …gone. The bears were banished. - Chalcelle fell to the ground and Quartzone kneeled down to hold her.

Yeah! Banished by who, Chalcelle? - The earring bear smiled.

By… The King… And the Queen. - Chalcelle’s words were almost unintelligible .
Aaaand who are those, Chalcelle?

Quartzone’s… Quartzone’s adoptive parents… After the tribe was murdered.

The purple bear expected to see some kind of surprise look in Quartzone’s eyes, anything that made him weaken. Instead, the Scarf Bear was just holding Chalcelle tightly, worried about her.

The ribbon bear looked at the Citrine Bear with sad eyes. - I am sorry… Sorry for everything. - She said to him.

Quartzone stood up and grabbed his blades.

Let’s fight. - He said to the amethyst bear.

After an intense battle between Citrine and Amethyst, the purple bear, now damaged by the Citrine Blades, gave Quartzone a last smile. - We’ll see each other again. - She said before vanishing.
