Das Album "Das Fließende Band / The Flowing Bond / Płynąca Więź" ist eine Sammlung von Liedern in drei Sprachen, die sich den Flüssen und Kanälen der Oder, Havel und Finow widmen. In poetischen Balladen, auf Deutsch, Englisch und Polnisch, erzählen sie von den Wasserwegen als Lebensadern – von ihrer Geschichte, der Arbeit der Menschen, die mit und auf ihnen leben, von Abschied und Neubeginn, von der Schönheit der Natur und der unaufhaltsamen Kraft der Zeit. Denn auch, wo heute Sprachen und Grenzen trennen, verbindet das fließende Wasser Orte, Zeiten und Kulturen. Es ist ein Band zwischen Vergangenheit und Gegenwart, zwischen den Geschichten des Finowkanals, des Oderbruchs, der gigantischen Schleusentreppe, dem Leben der Binnenschiffer und dem stillen Zeugnis des alten Hebewerks bis zum heutigen, modernsten Schiffshebewerk Europas in Niederfinow. Ruhige, entspannte Instrumental-Stücke in der Tradition maritimer, englischer und irischer Lieder verstärken die Faszination für eine wunderschöne Flusslandschaft mit reicher Industriekultur zwischen Stettin und Berlin.

The album "Das Fließende Band / The Flowing Bond / Płynąca Więź" is a trilingual collection of songs dedicated to the rivers and canals of the Oder, Havel, and Finow. In poetic ballads, in German, English, and Polish, they tell of the waterways as lifelines – of their history, the work of the people living and working with and on them, of farewell and new beginnings, of the beauty of nature and the unstoppable power of time. Because even where languages and borders separate today, the flowing water connects places, times, and cultures. It is a bond between past and present, between the stories of the Finow Canal, the Oderbruch, the gigantic Staircase Lock, the life of the bargemen, and the silent testimony of the old Ship Lift up to Europe's most modern ship lift in Niederfinow. Calm, relaxing instrumental pieces in the tradition of maritime, English, and Irish songs enhance the fascination for a beautiful riverscape with a rich industrial culture between Szczecin and Berlin.

W poetyckich balladach, po niemiecku, angielsku i polsku, opowiadają o drogach wodnych jako arteriach życia – o ich historii, pracy ludzi żyjących i pracujących na nich i z nimi, o pożegnaniu i nowym początku, o pięknie przyrody i niepowstrzymanej sile czasu. Bo nawet tam, gdzie dziś dzielą języki i granice, płynąca woda łączy miejsca, czasy i kultury.
