The 1980's was a generation remembered for its revolutionary leaps in electronic music, anything and everything went as musicians and producers experimented with state of the art modern technology, synthesisers and drum machines creating an entirely new sound never previously heard from past generations. Dreamy synthesised chords coupled with those now familiar 'huge reverb' snares to create a feeling never before felt, a feeling of magic for those who where unknowingly holding out their entire lives for that kind of synthesised funk inspired groove they never knew existed until then, electronic music swept the underground scenes and made its way into the main stream. Using authentic 80's synths and drum machines i want to recreate that feeling of magic again within our modern music culture, so come along for the ride and lets recreate those famous Miami Nights.
