VANDANA is an artist who thrives in contradiction - shapeshifting between the seductive and the sinister, the intimate and the maximalist, she has built a world where beauty and menace intertwine.

Her single “This Hunt” (Oct 17, 2025) is less a song than a ceremony. Born of industrial pulse and velvet ruin, it circles the listener like prey, unraveling themes of pride, appetite, and a Faustian bargain. The lyrics bend the body into ritual, where blossoms bloom with both allure and danger.

Born and raised in India, she moved to London before settling in Brooklyn, a path that mirrors the paradoxes in her music: ancient and futuristic, rooted and exiled, silenced and unafraid. Drawing on a culture steeped in mysticism yet fractured by modern complexity, she calls her vision ancient futurism - an ouroboros of blossoms and brutality, vulnerability and dominance.

Critics at Brooklyn Vegan and The Line of Best Fit have called her a “mystic, intelligent anti-Venus,” placing her within a lineage of art-pop disruptors - Björk, Fever Ray, Thom Yorke, Arca and FKA twigs. Yet her ethos is her own: a maximalist emotional world, ceremonial and cinematic in tone and uncompromising in vision.
