from bedroom raves to outer space

Kitsch (Elle), is a DJ and producer who plays around with house, garage, techno, breaks, ballroom and bass. Immersed in the DIY club scene, Kitsch’s sets and productions mix up multiple genres, blending elements of light and dark, while always channelling an underground spirit. Expect booming and bouncy basslines, skippy and syncopated drum grooves, and glitchy, blissed out vocal refrains. 

Starting out self-taught and practising at home in her bedroom, in her short time on the scene Kitsch has now played at venues including Grow Hackney, Dalston Superstore, Club Makossa, Aaja Deptford, Dalston Den, and Four Quarters Peckham. She hosts monthly radio shows with Vandelay Radio and Voices Radio, and has recently launched World Clique, an event and open decks night designed to unite emerging artists and DJs, and platform underrepresented talent.
