LFrQx (Low Frequencies) is an electro rock band delivering an immersive live experience that blends electronic grooves with the energy of a full band. What started as a studio-driven project has evolved into a powerful live act, bringing downtempo and triphop-inspired music to the stage with depth, dynamics, and emotion.

On November 2, 2025, LFrQx recorded their first live sessions at Creative Factory Overrijn in Leiden, capturing the raw and organic sound of the band performing together. These sessions marked the transition from studio project to a fully realized live act.

Live, LFrQx performs as a five-piece band, combining electronic elements with live instrumentation:
- Vocals
- Guitar
- Keys & synths
- Bass
- Drums

This setup allows the band to translate their layered electronic productions into an engaging and authentic live performance, suitable for clubs, pop venues, festivals, and art spaces.

After the demise of the short lived group CABAL, it's principal songwriter Bas wrote a full album by going back to his roots. The result is the 1997 album "Tales of the Shade" by Dutch wave band The White Rose. The album explores mixing of folk, sound bytes and dark themes such as abandonment. The sound is made with a Juno 6, Atari Mega ST, Dr 550, SC55 and via layered recordings via a 4 track and DCC tapes. All songs but "Unspeakable" were recorded by Bas. Unspeakable was recorded together with Niels Lefeber in a frenzy in one night. The artwork was done by Inez Staarink
