With a rich background as a record producer, songwriter, musician, and artist, Vandes's journey began amidst the diverse soundscape of his hometown, where he cultivated his passion for music in the intimate confines of a home studio attic.

With drumsticks in hand and a passion for rhythm, Vandes discovered his groove from a young age, initially honing his skills behind the drum kit at his grandfather's church. His musical journey led him to the renowned Chicago High School for the Arts, where he delved deeper into the world of jazz, laying a solid foundation for his artistry. As an alumnus of the esteemed Jazz Links program, he continues to pay homage to his jazz roots while embracing a fusion of genres, seamlessly blending live instrumentation with elements of hip hop and trap.

Vandes's musical prowess extends beyond his instrument, as evidenced by his prolific collaborations with an array of acclaimed artists and creators including Sy Ari Da Kid, Paxquiao, 24Hrs, Bobby Kritical, The Game, Rick Ross, Dizzy Wright, Killah Priest, Sticky Fingaz, Gucci Mane, Sean Kingston, Juicy J, and Jadakiss, among others. His forthcoming album, slated for release in spring 2025, promises to be a testament to his versatility, drawing from his diverse influences to create a captivating sonic experience.
With knowledge in classical percussion and jazz, and drumming since the age of 8, it wasn’t long before Vandes would expand into music production. By the age of 11, he had acquired his first AKAI MPC and was quickly introduced to sampling and sequencing.


Vandes aims to inspire as many people as possible through the positive vibes in his music.
