Established in Berlin in 1999, the label quickly captured attention not just within the capital city borders but worldwide. In 2010, two of the most prestigious labels in dance music — Paul van Dyk’s legendary VANDIT imprint and Dutch record company Armada Music — announced a new joint venture. With a burgeoning release schedule for 2010 and 2011 already in place, the Berlin‐based VANDIT team will remain responsible for the label’s A&R and artist development as both entities prepare to take the imprint into the next decade.
