Saint Crispin's Day and the Band of Brothers is related to the exhortation to "Keep on loving each other as brothers" in Hebrews 13.  Marital purity, coveting and the Day of Atonement are also discussed. Sermon given on September 1, 2013.

Jesus introduced a new family system in Mark 3. Likewise, Paul encourages the church in Corinth to not allow controversies to distract them from their main purpose, which is to be ambassadors of reconciliation through Christ.

Why does it seem that God does not answer prayers miraculously as much as we would like to see? Jesus finds that he cannot do any great miracles due to the people's lack of faith (Mark 6). Paul reveals that God would not remove his thorn, but was told that God's grace is sufficient (2 Cor. 12).
