A poem for you...
The shaming, cautious voices gathered- 
a deceptive mob.
Never stopped my expression
Even
When
hidden in painful sobs.

Faced often with the “right way” as others knowingly say.

I turned 
curious, alone
to explore the shadowed, reddish hill, 
the untrodden blue grass 
and the unknown violet sea-
of the ever-evolving me.

The scent of romantic duty never saturated my damp skin.

I must be free to roam,
There and here
And again.

I never yearned for the solid box that secures the fears.

Never ached for the heavy, tender yoke of the given years.

I dream of spacious, cool dew dripped mornings.

Poetic musings whispered into my breast.
Warm, gentle embrace
Turning quickly into fiery,
bliss-filled grace.

Over and over.
The fire,
This desire
never fade.
Awakens daily
When love is made.

Deeper hungers to be quelled.
Deeper knowings to be shared.

If you blink foolishly
I may appear like every other.

Yet take notice of the unspoken glint,
The fire in my eyes,
That burns through the mundane
To gain the 
Otherworldly
prize.

A woman of two worlds
Promised to One.

I am a forward woman.

I know my Cosmic space, 
my unfolding desire and 
never truly fear impending flight.

I am freer than you can know yet tethered
lightly to the earth.
Of unseen, feathered wing
Of true love and freedom
My Soul sings.

I am a forward woman.

Take heed or step aside.
Or if you dare,
lay here beside me, friend.

I will not quiet my brash Soul 
because it reminds you of your own.

Your muffled, confused captive,
the one you hide.

Yes, the loving one that treads loyally by your side.

No, I won’t pretend that that everything is alright, nor be afraid of the earthly fight- I must stand and be counted in this gathering storm.

Oh Change, my friends, is taking on passionate form!
Ready or not-
no plucking at forget-me-nots, 
no questions to ask…
Oh we all have a part here
A sacred mission,
