Coming out of Trinidad and Tobago is the Caribbean's sweetest songbird..Vanessa is primed to make a major impact across the Caribbean, North America and other regions with her urban styled gospel music that blends R&B with the rhythms and splendour of the Caribbean. These traits were instilled in Vanessa when she trained under the direction of the legendary Sterling Gittens, one of the greatest musicians produced out of Trinidad. Working with Gittens and his Youth Pulse Choir over a four-year period, Vanessa developed her vocal, performance and composing skills. By the time she exited the group, Vanessa was a competent musical director as well as impressive vocalist and vocal coach. Her career thus far has seen her sharing the stage with the likes of Fred Hammond, Helen Baylor, Alvin Slaughter and many more. Until a few years ago Vanessa, being wary of the forefront, would only perform backing vocals for other singers. Her days in the background served her well as her vocals can today be heard lending support to the projects of many top local gospel artistes. In fact Vanessa's vocals are in great demand across her home island of Trinidad and she was well received as a top judge on Trinidad's talent search "Digicel Rising Stars," once you get a first taste of her you'll desire more. Following her EP, Vanessa completed her first album 'New Beginning" in 2012 and recently released her new single for 2015 "Praise Without Restriction" which has been overwhelmingly received by all audiences.
