Now in its 200th instalment, this Podcast has given voice to a diverse offering of global talents across the musical spectrum, from the democratic rhythms of zeitgeist appropriate techno and house through to more avant-garde synthwork.

This next guest has cast a large shadow over the technosphere, so large in fact, that no introduction could fully encompass the breadth of his achievements. But in brief: Ben Klock is a titan whose formative years were spent playing marathon mixes to the crowds at Berlin’s (then recently opened) Berghain. Off the back of his endurance sets and the club’s success he became a household name whose influence grew to be felt across the world, with a body of work that includes appearances at an exhaustive list of clubs and festivals, a number of hot releases on Ostgut Ton and an equally respected self-run label (Klockworks) to boot. On this second imprint, his own productions have repeatedly seen the light of day, alongside those from the likes of DVS1, Sterac, Stef Mendesidis and younger talents like Temudo and Vil & Cravo. The sound, ubiquitous as it is, will be familiar to anyone involved in the world of electronic music and there’s good reason for that: Klock’s deep and percussive work and ability to pull from a wide range of influences have earmarked him as a unique agent for the techno cause. Fondateur avec AWB et PVNV du label Taapion basé à Paris, Shlømo est un des plus dévoués représentant des franges deep techno françaises. Auteur d'un paquet d'EP depuis 2013 sur des labels aussi divers que Delsin, Arts ou Singular Records, il signe en 2018 sur son propre label "Mercurial Skin", un premier album d'une grande variété. La techno se trouve breakée, encore plus ambiante qu'à l'accoutumée et agrémentée de pérégrinations leftfield et abstraites du meilleur effet. Toujours en mouvement, ses lives suivent l'évolution de ses sorties et il y a fort à parier que ce qu'il nous réserve cette année vaille le détour.

In Turin, industrial and musical manufacturing city, Boston 168 is born, formed by Sergio Pace and Vincenzo Ferramosca, an analogic duo that through sound production aims to redefine a peculiar field of the electronic sound, Acid Techno. Boston 168 is a laboratory of sound crafting: Sergio Pace and Vincenzo Ferramosca are two electronic researchers, who have spent years working on vivisecting sound in order to create new solutions for the techno substance.

As a DJ and producer, Setaoc Mass is part of a select cut of young artists who are absorbing techno’s legacy and carrying the torch into tomorrow. Whilst overseeing his own imprint @SK_eleven, his releases push a galvanising brand of techno, steeped in a sense of urgency, ever-propulsive with acute detailing and nods to a futuristic space-age. In addition to a debut release on Len Faki’s Figure which has caught the eye of some of the scene’s most respected DJ’s. As a selector, the Mancunian’s extended DJ sets pull from an expansive spectrum of material both new and old.

Seine Liebe und Hingabe zur elektronischen Musik entdeckte Florian von Au bereits in jungen Jahren. Bereits Ende der ´90er Jahre entdeckte der damals 16jährige seine Leidenschaft zu Techno, damals noch sehr dem Genre " Trance " zugetan. Es entwickelte sich über die Jahre hinweg eine innige Liebe zur elektronischen Musik.

Heute, ist es der härtere, jedoch durchaus auch ebenso melodische Techno, der Florian in seinen Bann zieht.

Inspiriert durch Dj`s, wie Rødhad, Ben Klock, Nihad Tule, Steve Rachmad, Setaoc Mass, SHDW&ObscureShape, ANNÉ, Amotik, Kaiser, René Wise und vielen mehr, entwickelte sich der Sound des gebürtigen Schwaben aus der Nähe von Stuttgart zu einem schnelleren,straighten Techno mit eindeutigem Wiedererkennungswert.
