Revived is about being in a dark time in your life, having lost your dreams and thinking that all hope has gone, and then one day meeting someone who shows you that the dreams you thought you had lost are still inside you. It's a story about making a life saving  connection.

Vangelis Sopamena - 'Voor Ons' (Official Audio)

Vangelis Sopamena is a Dutch singer-songwriter, born and raised in the city of Groningen. He studied at the Minerva Academy of Pop Culture in Leeuwarden and moved to Rotterdam in 2011. It was here where he met the members of his current band; Laurens Dengkeng, Faruk Dengkeng and Robin Lopulalan.

In 2015 he released his first single and music video ‘Girl’ and in 2016 he wrote and produced his first art music video ‘Voor Ons’ (For Us), on which he collaborated with actor/dancer Boris Schreurs. This video became an official selection at the international LGBTQ film festival Roze Filmdagen in Amsterdam, where it was very well received. 

With his band he has performed at different festivals, such as North Sea Round Town, International Film Festival Rotterdam, Rotterdam Pride, Rotterdam Unlimited, Pica Pica and Muziek op de Rotte. He also reached the semifinals of the SENA Grote Prijs van Rotterdam and performed in different venues in Rotterdam, such as BIRD, Rotown, Jazzcafé Dizzy, FERRY and Café LaBru.

The style of his music is an eclectic mix of R&B, funk and folk, which forms the base of his unique repertoire, consisting of sensitive songs as well as groovy songs. As an artist Vangelis likes to keep the content of his songs as intimate as possible, allowing subjects such as love, sexuality and spirituality to be expressed as sincerely as possible.
