Dutty Audio proudly celebrates its 50th release; presenting its first full artist album, ‘LOG1N’s Astray’.

The London-based label founded by Brazilian artist Vinicius Honorio aka BTK has been spawning Drum&Bass history for over 10 years; releasing music from established artists such as Audio, Maldini (Bad Company), Maztek, Mefjus, Nymfo, Optical and Optiv (RIP). The imprint has also helped to bring a lot of fresh talent into the scene such as Teddy Killerz, Gydra, Black Barrel, and Chromatic.

Featuring the winner of last year’s ‘40 Channels of Funk’ remix competition, French-born LOG1N is surely one to watch. Always trying to improve his techniques, merging his influences with his very own sonic universe, funky breaks and driving basslines are his signature sound.

LOG1N’s ‘Astray’ is a testament to the artist’s devotion to the Drum&Bass sound, whilst trying to take the audience on a meaningful journey and telling his own story through sound.

Get to know! Following a series of remixes and a recent summer feel-good bomb, Azpect delivers her landmark debut EP on Formation Records. 
Hailing from Vancouver, Azpect – real name Chiffon Leyden – has been a card-carrying drum & bass junglist since 2010 and has diligently trekked across the epic, sprawling Canadian terrain to any D&B show she possibly could. Linking up with Formation Records founder DJ SS at a World Of Drum & Bass show in 2018, the jungle pioneer has been mentoring and guiding her to this exciting debut EP point.
Like all the best music, the whole EP is deeply personal as Azpect brings in her nearest and dearest and lays out her inspirations and ideas in a full technicolour D&B mission statement. ‘Reflections’ is a warm, purring dubwise number that features her younger brother Radio Soap on guitar, something Chiffon’s always wanted to do since she first started studying production in 2012. 
A slew of high voltage jungle slammers follows: ‘Back It Up’ is pure rolling thunder. The peaktime danger jam of the EP, think Prototypes or Document One, there’s a powerful sense of controlled, weighty momentum running throughout. ‘Free Your Mind’ flips the vibe for a deep, contemplative experience as Azpect links with Lady MC and SS himself for a lesson in finding the positive. Finally ‘The Next Step’ closes the EP with the thoughtful bars of Formation resident MC G1 and some of Azpect’s finest star-gazing sonic textures. Hopeful, deep and full of drive, it’s the perfect way to leave us all waiting for her next step… 
‘Reflections’ is out November 12 on Formation Records, jungle drum & bass music’s longest-standing labels. It follows the smouldering, soulful ‘Feeling Blessed’, the old school bone-rattling ‘The Fight’ on Formation Records’ Back To Jungle Vol 2 album and a remix of Bachelors Of Science. Hi, my name is Fred, also known as Van:Hill and this is the longest introduction ever, but if you want to know... I am a resident DJ in Vienna known for my ability to select the perfect tune at the right time and get the crowd going wild. I absolutely love to surprise you guys with remixes or changes in music style that are short and sweet. I have been listening to Drum and Bass since I was 12 years old, thanks to my older brother who introduced me to this music genre and paved the way for me to explore this world.
I have been DJing since 2013 and started playing in clubs around 2015. Over the years, I have had the honor of playing in many cities across different countries, such as the Czech Republic (where I even became a resident of the N.Project crew from Ostrava - cheers, guys!) Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, and of course, my home country Austria, thanks to the wonderful friends I have made along the way.
My top five favorite clubs are Flex Vienna (the first club I ever played a set on my own and definitely the one in which I had most of my gigs), Crossclub Prague (you must go there, then you definitely will understand), Fabric Ostrava (sick sound, nice crew and if opened - they have the sickest backstage you’ll ever see in a club, I swear!), Marley Ostrava (back when N.Project was throwing their parties there), and Storm Club in Prague (as a D&B enthusiast you must definitely visit that club). My favorite events are my homebase The Hive at Flex Vienna, where I am also one of the resident local DJs, N.Project Ostrava, Imagination Prague, Contrast Vienna and of course, the mighty Let it Roll.
I love playing B2Bs, but it's important that the B2B buddy vibes with you, and that's not always the case. My favorite B2B buddies so far are Jalen Mess, Ception (I’m quite sure I played my heaviest sets with that sick dude!), AKOV (that B2B at my buddy BEESUs “No Problem Festival” at Beach Park Mlekojedy near Prague - dude I barely had so much fun playing B2B), Sven Sma (at Expo Praha, biggest hall I ever played in), my dear friend from far away Dotronix who is the only mostly Jump Up DJ I love playing with, BEESU (DUDE! come back, at least somewhere in Europe!!) and I’ve had some really sick gigs with my man Divenger. Those memories <3
My absolute favorite hobby is making you guys freak out to the tunes I personally love. Let's go mad and party hard together!
