The second release on Hypnotic Journeys brings together emerging Georgian producers and celebrated names from the global techno scene, weaving a story of tension, resistance, and transcendence.

Batumi-based newcomer Grenuy opens the compilation with a debut ambient piece that feels both intimate and expansive, a slow-burning meditation on space and emotion. His work is reimagined by Van Morph, a revered producer and founder of Khoros Records, who drives the track into deeper territory with an old-school, hypnotic groove.

NFNM (formerly Kapa), a young yet distinctive voice in the Tbilisi underground, delivers a piece of textural techno rich with movement and raw emotion. The journey concludes with a powerful remix by Tsott, founder of the forward-thinking Spira Records, whose deep and cerebral approach brings the compilation full circle.

“Friction” is a testament to Hypnotic Journeys’ ethos: uniting generations, sounds, and visions through hypnotic techno as a futurist statement.

In times of disturbance, the world has to adjust to current needs, at 30D we are no exception and are striving to adapt to the situation we are all living through today. The label is fully aware of the efforts and changes that our community are facing at these difficult times and with our strong belief in the power of music, we have decided to continue to release new material.
 
Our sub-label ‘Close Encounters’ publishes its third release ‘Third Contact’ EP on April 24th 2020, bringing together a range of artists to express their musical vision as a virtual union, somewhat reflective of the globes current confinement.
 
‘Third Contact EP' delivers four tracks from an alliance of artists who are at a peak in their careers; Denise Rabe clearly defines her dark, hypnotic trade-mark aesthetic in 'We'll Meet In Shanghai', a timeless track even before its release. Geistform combines industrial-electro with a raw techno drive, continuously channelling his masterful energy in '3C 273'. A more dancefloor-oriented B side features ‘Stolen’ from Temudo, delivering rolling groove and distorted bass-lines, Adriana Lopez closing the EP with her high energy, spellbinding ‘SMV’, both B-side tracks perfectly geared toward a wide variety of DJ sets.

Techno can be one of the best artistic ways to explore other realities, reach other planets and yes, escaping the system while dancing and letting the
mind get rid of all our conditionings. When MSDMNR & TESST (@tesstberlin) join forces as Modern Doom, anything in techno can be accomplished. Their newest release, Escape The System, is an overpowering statement served with three original tracks and a vigorous remix by Adriana Lopez (@AdrianaLopez).
Escape One comes with an infernal loop that will break all chains that tighten you, except those you wear for enjoyment. Adriana Lopez remixes brilliantly Escape One by increasing its intensity, yet keeping the
same demolishing atmosphere. Holographic builds a no mercy rhythm to threaten your breath, while sinuous noises explode and metallic drums cut the air, leaving you back to back with adrenaline. Once the Escape has
been possible and we’re dancing free in outer space, Bleep Wars might be the last wildness track to experience.
Modern Doom’s Escape plan is ready. May 2021 be the year to apply it to the dancefloors of this planet.

Spanish artist @notzing delivers a twelve-track album on Koryu Budu titled "Ingeniería Onírica" LP 

​Los ingenieros oníricos se sirven de los artefactos para poder manipular su conciencia y diseñar mundos oníricos por los que viajar. De origen incierto, los artefactos se encuentran dispersos entre planos y han intentado ser rediseñados en nuestro mundo mediante el uso de frecuencias, convirtiéndose en elementos de estudio plenamente funcionales para el ingeniero onírico del plano físico. La correcta correlación de uso entre artefactos permite al onironauta saltar entre los diferentes estados de la experiencia para la formación de universos. 

El artefacto "Cordón," de plata y presente en todos los planos, sirve como nexo entre el cuerpo físico y la consciencia materializada. A menudo, debido al influjo de otro artefacto, o a la inestabilidad en el canal creado por correlación, es capaz de obligar a la regresión, clausurando el canal de comunicación. Existe un artefacto Cordón que une cada una de las conciencias proyectadas con sus correspondientes cuerpos así como del cuerpo físico. Se desconoce que ocurre en caso de fisión.
