Infidel Castro - Angry Depressive Hype Disorder

The synth took over and I couldn't be happier - well I could be happier. I'm glad to finally get this one off my chest. Made a small edit so had to reupload - if it sounds weird try headphones or different speakers it isn't exactly mixed on monitors.

Sun Huffer Ft. Infidel Castro - Iron Gate

This thing is a fucking mess. I hate it but I put too much time into it not to share it. It was supposed to be a Nick Johnston / Earthless inspired track that morphed into this weird edm / guitar thing.

The start of this was to just noodle around and try out some different recording techniques - 10 hours later this is what we have.

Lesson's learnt:
Make sure you zoom into your click track and make sure it's actually correctly aligned to the metronome / grid BEFORE you start recording or else you'll have a really bad time.

Do some premixing to make sure the layers your combining actually work before you press on because sloppy recordings can't be fixed in post.

Did I mention you can't fix sloppy playing in post? 

Recording vocal clips off youtube outdoorsman videos is a great idea except they all have vary qualities - resulting in some terrible sounding / mishmashy samples.

All this being said, I had fun and the ideas on display are pretty neat albeit horribly executed.
