Live recording from a private festival in the UK, this summer. I took the decks after two days of day and night partying on a Sunday late afternoon by poolside. I was not feeling fresh, but we came more alive with each tune mixed on this set—a combination of 128 to 135 BPM techno.  There is a slight distortion, somewhere at the beginning. I blame tequila and recording gadget! :)

The tracks presented on the 2nd release of Ground Control marks an important time in the artist's (Disandat) life. 
Mental Image was made just after finishing Point Blank Music school in London and it was also the time when Gabor and Giovanni met the first time back in 2016.
Gabor sent this track to Giovanni who was very supportive of it and a friendship begun. 
At the time one of Gabor main influences in music was the Swedish tech
no duo Minilogue, and the hypnotic aesthetic is clearly apparent on this track.
 It is a rather unusual compostions that is constantly changing and slowly evolving over time underpinned by a simple pulsing bassline. 
The second track Clarification is a revisited version of Mental Image. 
While preserving the hypnotic aspect of the original its a more stripped down arrangment, reflective of Gabors current moods and way of expression.

Hey Groovers,

this is part of the recording of our set from Evolution Festival 2023 (@ Techtonic Floor) We played sunday morning from 9-1pm and it has been super sunny and the atmosphere was hypnotic, trippy & beautiful. Bliss!
