"Vapor Quintet" is a project born of the concern of its members to get closer to the musical legacy of the great figures of jazz and recover the repertoires that make up some of the most emblematic albums of an era. The quintet carries out this proposal by producing monographs of those records with their own arrangements, thus offering us a personal and innovative vision of the chosen compositions.
Bud Powell “Jazz Giant (1954)”, Clifford Brown “Study in Brown (1955)”, “Cliffird Brown and Max Roach at Basin Street (1956)”, Cannonball Aderley “Live in Paris (1960)” Freddie Hubbard Ready for Freddie (1962) ”,“ Hub-Tones (1962) ”are some of the records that the band has worked absorbing the energy of their repertoires to present a fresh and forceful live that does not leave anyone indifferent.
This time the band presents the album, "Live At the Pershing (1958)" by Ahmad Jamal.
