Street Ritual has long held a reverence for the hard and heavy sounds of the electronic fringe. Like a special language spoken by only the devout, it is these kinetic productions that continue to ignite our love affair with bass music as musicians from scenes new and old twist the byzantine sounds of the underground into increasingly provocative incarnations with each new release. 

A tribute to the rebellious and wild — to the low-end fanatics and shadowy seekers among us — Street Ritual presents the ‘Hard & Heavy’ Compilation.’ Capturing the essence of our unflinching musical aesthetic through twelve acts of seditious bass, our Summer 2020 VA pulls from the realms of halftime, dubstep, drum and bass, neuro, and the endless dark spaces in between to offer a glimpse of the next frontiers of hard and heavy electronica.
