Variance is a project born from the collaboration between singer Alessandro Fonti and guitarists Enrico Perugini and Andrea Pironi, the latter also involved in the role of producer of the project.
After several experiences in other local bands, the trio decided to join forces to create a new sound blending elements from modern pop, alternative rock and electronic music.
Variance’s influences include artists such as Muse, PVRIS, 30 Seconds To Mars and The 1975.
The debut album “Sight From A Lucid Dream,” released last Jan. 20, is entirely self-produced by the band, and marks the debut on the music scene for Variance. It was preceded by the singles: “Mystery,” “Underwater” and “Tale of Redemption” released in 2022.
In 2023 the band shared stages with Destrage, The Offspring, Simple Plan, Billy Talent, Enter Shikari and many others.
