This song was inspired by a specific day of july 2018. It takes me back to a summer afternoon, where everything was calm and perfect for dozing off.

It was composed for a photography video.

Soundtrack for a teaser of a novel, "Delta Echo Charlie, Code 2", the first part also known as "Transmissions on 27.285".

As a man drives in his car with his old, 11 meter radio trying to pick up a signal, he's surrounded by armed people, and told to go back where he came from in a threatening manner. Scared by the encounter, he rushes revving the car up to turn around, and flees full speed until he's on the main highway, going as far as he can, remembering about the plan if this happened. The main theme kicks in during the last part of the second half, when he's back on the highway, trying to maintain his composture.

A dedicated song. Sad and hopeful at the same time, with a lot of sweetness. Even at my worst, I never lost my hope. 


Dedicated to my then girlfriend, now wife, as of 2025.

When I composed it, I used something as simple as a korg minilogue as a midi controller, and ended up with this melody, when she was away during christmas, on our anniversary. A relationship with lots of struggles because of distance at first, and living together on our own, after 10 years.
