Tribal Steps Vol. 2 is a sequel of an ancient story which flows in us since the beginning of time. This is a story about invoking the entelechy of our ancestors for guidance so that humankind can evolve in their destined path. The soundtrack of the "archaic revival" is calling to us - perfectly balanced between organic and electronic forms of sound, channeling the ancient notion of interconnectedness with nature, as well as a contemporary psychedelic approach to dance music. Musicians from all over the world got together to express the melody which is singing in their souls, reverberating through the vast channels of collective consciousness. This is an adventurous journey through various tempos, styles, and melodies, but there is an everlasting and unifying force at the core of this release - love.

This Sacraticum episode features CORD. Cord started in the early 2000s, with breakbeats on Hungary's legendary Chi Recordings. Later he started to experiment on more psychedelic and experimental genres, then after refining his music creation toolset and process, Maktub EP was born under the courtesy of Merkaba Music in 2020. Current path is touching the psychedelic genres born from midtempo electronic music, different types of psy-tech spiced with the original Cord vibes: counterpointing motives and rhythmic structures, eastern melodies and interesting sounds. His music always tries to tell a story with a long, progressing arrangements, spiced up with mind tickling sounds. Bouncing and driving, a great fusion of different influences with strong melodic elements, twisted arps and synth lines. These are there also when he is on stage: his performance is somewhere between a DJ set and a live act. In his own created environment he uses the tracks very creatively, always resulting in a never-heard-of puzzle.
