Once Upon A Time...

I REMEMBER YOU

This summer I did a small renovation in my apartment.

When you usually do these things, photos and memories appear that you did not expect to find.

I found a photo of a girl who was my girlfriend for a short time and she brought back memories of other times. I remember her perfectly...her name, where she lived in Catalonia, the sensation she felt of that freshness of youth. Who hasn't felt that?

And best of all... my wife didn't see the photo!!!

I thought of the sax as an instrument to create the melody. I haven't written many songs with this instrument, but the idea came instantly with that sound.

I composed it in a few days in October of last year and I'm publishing it now. My friend Clive (Winkandwoo) told me not to keep it for too long a few days ago.... and I listened to him.

I Remember You

Compositeur amateur mais passionné, j'ai voulu exprimer à travers cet album les contrastes de la lumière à différents moments de la journée et dans des décors naturels changeants. Si la lumière est un phénomène physique fascinant, elles est aussi synonyme d'espoir, lorsque viennent les périodes plus sombres. J'espère que vous ressentirez dans ces morceaux le pouvoir conjoint de la musique et de la lumière.

Morning light

The English saying "We're all going to Hell in a hand-cart" just about describes my mood when I wrote "Descent". It was one of those weeks in northern hemisphere Spring 2024 when there was absolutely no good news coming in from anywhere on the planet.

I trust that things will get better!
