I came up with the original idea for The Nile while sitting outside at a coffee shop in the summer of 2012. The weather was perfect and there was a giant fountain next to me. It was one of the easiest songs to name, because after I had the groove of the song down, all I could think of was sitting on a boat in ancient Egypt, floating down the nile. This song takes me places, its been a long time in coming, and I'm so glad I can finally share it with you today.

Here's my remix of Cage the Elephant's hit song "Come a Little Closer". Heard the original on the radio in my car late one night, in my mind everything lined up so clearly.
