Høleigh has been contributing to Manchester’s darker side of dance for several years, but began to surface in late 2019 which saw her transition to techno, electro and trance. Prior to this, Høleigh was collecting a broad range of UK dance styles, hardcore, hard house and 4x4 niche. Musical elements from these genres are echoed in her track selection. This evolution most likely accounts for the predilection of 140bpm+. Accelerating from start to finish and constantly shifting through the gears, Høleigh’s intuition when performing resonates with dancefloors and its punters, all of which stems from her dynamic and idiosyncratic way of mixing and using dj equipment innovatively.

Syncopated claps, whirling hi-hats, relentless percussion. From the neo-rave to hard techno, Cathédral always keeps the energy high for a raw and frenzied experience.

Co-founder and resident at the London party MASS, the night has been pushing a harder and faster sound since 2018 while supporting the local scene and giving back to the mental health charity Mind.

Back in June, Cathédral launched his newest project - a new label called LABURNŪM Records - with a V/A called 'Marches' including artists such as Mickey Nox, Veta.M, Bunkerterror and more, with the same ethos as MASS: to promote up-and-coming artists and the same percussive sounds.

Philipp Läufer is a prolific artist based in Berlin. After starting the post-punk band Bleib Modern and his own record label Black Verb Records, war scenes became an outlet for his solo productions. In his first live jams and recordings under the alias, he quickly established a unique cut of techno; a hybrid of relentlessly propulsive lines, bred with broken, machine-born sounds, forming conflictingly raw and surgical output.
