“Hollow Conversations” is an unrelenting exploration of isolation, emotional fragmentation, and the disconnection that plagues human interactions. A sonic journey through the void of unspoken words and broken bonds, this album captures the raw anguish of trying to connect in a world where communication often feels empty and one-sided. Each track delves deep into the struggles of trying to bridge the gap between our internal selves and the external world, only to find ourselves more alone than ever.

The album opens with a sense of quiet tension, each song building toward the inevitable breakdown of relationships, self-perception, and even sanity. With its fusion of rap-metal, post-hardcore, and electronic rock, “Hollow Conversations” creates an emotionally charged atmosphere, blending aggressive, high-intensity moments with haunting, reflective passages. It’s a musical landscape where vulnerability meets anger, where the search for connection is drowned out by the noise of confusion and isolation.

Just as the sun returns to the Northern Hemisphere, Joachim Pastor get’s his Fixi road ready and takes us on a musical trip. Three free floating creations full of musical euphoria and funk filled grooves await! 

Starting off with the carefree “Fixi” track, which is based around a gently played acoustic guitar melody. Spheric effect work escorts feathery pads and strings, while the 4/4 house beat and thumping bassline keep things moving forward on the dancefloor.

Next up is the dreamy “Laos” song. Laid-back, slightly distorted synth and percussion sounds build smooth tension. The energy is fielded by a bright string section and completed by a mellow Marimba melody. 

Joachim is closing of this superb EP with the broken beat anthem “The Same”. A breathtaking field of panoramic sounds evolve over the course of four minutes. Pastor experiments with other worldly vocals and tight broken beats. Pure bliss!

After a 9 month hiatus, Diynamic Music returns with the 12th edition of its famed “Four To The Floor” EPs. The label’s very own various artist series, which is always comprised of four dancefloor-oriented tracks that have one special quality in common: they have all been heavily road tested and certified by label boss Solomun on his countless gigs all over the world. 

Opening the record is “Monster” by Matthew Dear, his personal ode to the kickdrum. His eldritch voice almost turns into a haunting spiritual ceremony by singing eerie chants and entrancing phrases.
Up next is “Reaktor” by ELAX, an artist you have never heard from before, because it is a new moniker of Alex Ridha aka Boys Noize. This hypnotizing anthem would be the best possible soundtrack for the worst possible nuclear meltdown.
The third track comes from Denis Horvat and is called “Madness Of Many”, a gloomy melodic Techno track for those late hours at the club. 
Closing off the 12th instalment of “Four To The Floor” are Animal Picnic & Novakk with “Khokana”. Their contribution to the record is a driving and dreamy Deep House tune, certain to provide for closed eyes and raised hands on dancefloors everywhere.
