One of its most talented heralds and a surefire groove rider at that, Yanamaste graces us with a choice two hours of the entrancingly deep and bumpy 4x4 epics he’s been laying down for INNSIGNN, Lyree and Khidi in recent times. Paced-up and animal to the core, his vision sweeps an extra wide range of shades and reliefs, nimbly moving the cursor from classic Berlin-inspired blends to full-fledged magmatic trance, via Birmingham-style projections and a solid dose of folk-infused harmonics. Raw yet technical, organic with a hint of hypermodern hoodoo to it, Yanamaste’s sound is the definition of hardware techno with soul, cut to ram-raid and elevate in equal measure.

@lindseyherbert is a commanding figure in today's techno scene, particularly renowned across the Southwest for her unwavering dedication to techno's more underground sounds, and her ability to command crowds no matter the circumstances. 

Since 2015, she has been a fixture alongside top-tier artists in the bustling scenes of Los Angeles and San Francisco, leaving an indelible mark on both cities. Originally a resident of Robot Ears and now Direct to Earth, Lindsey has been an integral part of San Francisco's techno landscape. In 2019, Lindsey made her solo production debut on LA's Ascetic Limited, marking the beginning of a prolific journey in the studio. Her releases have proliferated, with recent drops on esteemed U.S. underground labels like Truncate, Blank Code, Northern Parallels, and Crisis of Man, as well as notable European and South American imprints such as Noise Manifesto, Planet X, NECHTO, and many others. 

In a noteworthy evolution, Lindsey's personal sound has transitioned to a more hypnotic, groovy, and dancefloor-oriented style. Her sets, ranging from ambient to deep to peak-time and high-energy, are meticulously crafted to suit the atmosphere, aiming to immerse listeners in a captivating journey and lock them into a relentless groove. Beyond her performances and productions, Lindsey is also a co-founder of EvilGroove, a burgeoning label that continues to expand its roster of talented emerging artists.

From London’s inner suburbs comes this next guest, a through and through veteran of UK techno whose touch has left a lasting mark on the world around him. Steve Bicknell’s early days were spent in the intoxicating worlds of dub, reggae, acid, DIY warehouse parties and pirate radio, an auspicious mix of references that would inspire him to make music of his own. After a string of residencies at the UK’s then most influential parties, he launched his own series with creative collaborator Sheree Rashit: LOST. These legendary gatherings brought together names like Plaid, Jeff Mills, Juan Atkins, Robert Leiner, Basic Channel, and a wider array of future techno hegemons. This was swiftly succeeded with the duo’s launch of imprint Cosmic Records, whose triumph went on to spawn another three successors: LOST (early provider of Bicknell’s dancefloor sounds), Clubtracks (for Chicago-leaning fare) and ID(entity) (a channel for the work of well established music-makers who wanted to release under a secret alias). A nine-year pause in productions came to a halt in the mid 2010s with Steve’s most recent label, 6dimensions, an exploration in sound and the whole spectrum of human emotion. Finally, 2017 saw Steve team up with Luke Slater and David Sumner under the LSD sobriquet, a force for the creation of ‘lysergic machine music’, heavily danceable stuff (just ask ADE, Dekmantel, Awakenings). With a story as full and enduring as Steve’s there’s much to pull from, and only experience in the flesh could attest to the depth and scope of his musical evolution, but it’s clear that the voice he has honed has only become louder and more refined. It’s a techno that’s fully embodied, a blistering percussive barrage that invokes something profoundly human and fundamental. Bassiani Podcast 217 is just a taste of what Steve has to offer, a window onto a world of sound he’s meticulously crafted for over three decades: masterfully layered and piercing sounds that shimmer and relentlessly rise in lockstep with a formidable 4/4 beat.

A true pioneer of the techno scene, Italian DJ and producer Gaetano Parisio needs no introduction but we'll just underline that since his first steps in the then-burgenoning electronic world back in 1992, his influence on the sound hasn't flinched one bit. Responsible for countless seminal releases on the likes of Primate, Zenit, Mosaic, his own structures Conform, ART and Southsoul and a myriad more, Gaetano has been pushing techno in new directions with ultimate drive and devotion to duty. Clocking in with a two-hour trip into his boundary-pushing headspace, the Neapolitan maestro treats us to a wild ride of trampling uptempo funk, sci-fi-indebted flights and further alien-engineered heaters. As a producer, DJ and label head, Barcelona-based artist @adrianalopez is widely acclaimed as Colombia’s leading techno figure. Starting out in Bogota, where she cut her teeth holding down residencies at Club BarC, Cinema and La Sala whilst performing across her native country’s different cities, Adriana Lopez moved to Spain in 2003 where she quickly made a name for herself throughout Europe and beyond. With years of experience behind her, Lopez's deep understanding of techno is evident in her high quality and tastefulselections: mixing records with technical finesse that has led to appearances at the likes of DGTL Festival (Barcelona, Madrid), Village Underground (London), Faust and Vurt (Seoul), Lux Fragil (Lisbon), Vent (Tokyo), Mondo Disko (Madrid), Basement (New York), Berghain and Tresor (Berlin) and many more. 

Meanwhile, as a producer Lopez has released on Stroboscopic Artefacts, Modularz, Semantica, PoleGroup and Mistress Recordings, as well as remixed Svreca, Pär Grindvik and Spencer Parker on each label owner's respective imprints. Upon her arrival in Barcelona, she also launched her very own platform, Grey Report, which has gone on to release music by artists like Developer, NX1, Takaaki Itoh, Lakej, W.I.R.E. and Temudo & Nørbak.

Adriana nació en Bogotá y en la actualidad reside en Barcelona. Inició su trayectoria a finales de la década de los 90. Además de haber sido DJ residente de los clubes BarC, Cinema y La Sala en su ciudad natal, actuó en varios eventos en diferentes ciudades colombianas. En 2003 se trasladó a España donde rápidamente se hizo un nombre, no solo a nivel europeo, sino más allá de sus fronteras.

Adriana Lopez es también la directora de su propio sello discográfico, Grey Report, en el que edita su material y el de artistas afines a su sonido.
