Lakej Returns to Soma Records with Static Future

Swedish techno innovator Lakej is back on Soma Records with a brand new release that delves even deeper into the introspective, hypnotic soundscapes that have defined his sonic identity. When I started this track, I was planning to make a remix of “Take What You Want” by Ozzy Osbourne, Post Malone and Travis Scott. I began by rebuilding some of the original chord progressions, but along the way the track started to develop its own character. I decided to keep some of the vocals and harmonies from the original, and let the rest evolve into something different... something of its own.
