Welcome to the Jungle. ANIMA Records follows up its debut release with JUNGLE [002]. As part of our mission to connect the world with a global techno sound - We are releasing one of the first ‘Concept’ Techno Records. Paired with equally psychedelic artwork, this album is a 'jungle-themed' release, inspired by organic sounds, lush world rhythms, and a focus on producers based in warmer climates. We feature music from Brazil, Uruguay, Malta, Australia and much more - as we take the focus away from club environments, to the places where the sun can shine, a clave pattern pushes the beat forward, and the heat is welcome. ‘JUNGLE’ is our next step in offering the future of dance music something fresh and different ~

Analytical Convenience presents M3STR - Magnetic Rose EP.

Back with an in-house EP from M3STR, bringing us a sonic tale of mystery and eeriness.

Inspired by the Magnetic Rose short story from Memories (1995) by Katsuhiro Otomo & Satoshi Kon, these tracks were produced by the artist in a surge of inspiration after watching the film, giving us as a reimagined soundtrack to this classic.

Throughout the EP, we journey across intriguing atmospheres and melodic hooks always accompanied by powerful grooves, aimed for a mental experience on the dance floors.

On remix duties we have with us Dust Devices, with a new dystopic vision on “Dreaming”.
In it, we’re carried through a cinematic flight alongside his carefully crafted synthlines.

”A space crew is called upon to investigate a distress signal from what ought to be an abandoned space station, run by an AI opera diva. The AI manipulates life support, VR, and nano systems, posing dangers the crew must overcome to survive.”

Serious est un artiste Portugais qui réside en France à Nice.

Il a toujours été un grand adepte de musique tous genres confondus : Hip-hop, Métal, Dubstep, Garage, Drum n Bass, House. Mais c’est de la Techno dont il est tombé amoureux.

Les années d’écoute et les multiples soirées à s’imprégner des meilleurs DJ et de leur manière d’exprimer leur art, et son sens de l’observation sur le mind-game derrières les platines, l’ont motivé à apprendre à mixer à l’âge de 27 ans. Il se lance à l’époque avec trois amis proches, les Minci. 

Autodidacte, il a appris seul la maîtrise des platines et a développé sa propre technique, avec quelques conseils de son entourage et d’artistes confirmés.
Très attaché à la métrique des compositions musicales de la Techno, il développe sa façon d’utiliser les tracks pour atteindre une précision et une propreté qui font pour lui son identité musicale.

Il créa donc son propre style : un univers qu’il décrit comme hypnotique, jungle et pur. Serious
