Ibtihal is an Arabic word that can be translated as a hard state to reach, a deep mental connection towards the within where a being can feel for the entity he is worshiping, an entity that can be benevolent or malevolent, obedient or imperious, from above or from below... A double-edged sabre.

"Al-Ibtihal" is an attempt to transcribe this feeling into the physical world through both visual and sonic mediums. The hour long album engulfs the two opposed sides of the same coin, depicted by the A-side and B-side of the tape.
The selected artwork captured by the talented Hind Moumou and gracefully edited by Hagen Ebejer portrays as a reminder that the Hand is a strong symbol of protection, most notably in the north-african and arab culture.

The A-side is a collection of electronic rituals where endless evolving drones meet ambient distorded soundscapes.
The B-side consists of martial pieces dedicated to War deities, with the introduction of tribal drums and beats.

“DOMAIN” is rooted in the Latin words domus (home) and dominium (ownership).
A house built from sound.
A space with no owner.
No rules, no control.
Just somewhere to stay, pass through, and experience.

For a long time, music has been where I go to breathe.
To hold myself together.
To stay grounded.

Not long ago, I came across an old drawing—
something I sketched over a decade ago without thinking.
Looking at it now,
maybe I was already imagining a place like this.

Now, I feel ready to leave the door open.
To clear it out.
To let it be.
And to move forward.

This track is a record of that moment.
No plans. No expectations.
Just where I was.

If you’ve ever tried to hold on to what matters
while everything else moved too fast—
I get it.

I hope this music finds you.

Morgenstern returns after a long hiatus with Phantom Pulse, a nine-track statement shaped over two years beneath Berlin’s strobelights. Each piece reflects a period of transformation, distilling the energy of countless nights into a focused and personal sound.

Three remixes by KaioBarssalos, Noah Tauber and Nihil expand the release with their own distinctive voices. All three have been part of the GTG story, and their return gives this project a special weight.
