Windfuhr is a Berlin based DJ and @eerstecommunie resident. 

His sound is hypnotic, energetic and full of fast rolling rhythms. To connect with people but also to disconnect from reality. On the dance floor he becomes one with the audience and establishing a dialogue between them. It is a language that leaves space to interpret your own story.

He wants the audience to get hypnotize by the sound, enter that euphoric state of consciousness and not wanting to stop dancing.

For this new edition we have the promising Mikrotakt. He is a producer/DJ that focuses on fast paced percussive grooves. Having come from a more hypnotic background, once Mikro discovered grooves there was no turning back as he was hooked. His recent moves have resulted in a residency at the amazing label @differentsoundofficial from Tbilisi, Georgia. Currently he resides in London where he means to do his part in promoting grooves and help develop the scene there as best he can.  His strong releases can be found on labels such as @trau-ma and @canticle-records.

The deadly duo from Hannover, Lyza and Ericson, the Bonnie and Clyde of groovy techno, have firmly established themselves as a force to be reckoned with. The joint project is the lovechild of the two accomplished artists, focused on fast and driving, uplifting rhythms, using three decks to maximum effect. Both inspired by the groove, the two have had multiple successful releases, showcasing their vision, demonstrating time and time again their credibility for the dancefloor as well as their flaming passion for the craft.

DifferentSound invites LYRIC / Podcast #151

Gwo Ka is music born in Guadeloupe and stands for big drum. It is the union of music, dance, and spirit. 
Two drummers are playing a specific rhythm as the base. The “Makè”, the third drummer, is placed at the center to follow, feel and whisper any of the dancers gestures. He matches the rhythm and energy of the dancers, becoming their shadow, and establishing a real dialogue between them. 
With my project I want to translate the rhythms of Gwo Ka in every upcoming mix. 
There are seven specific rhythms.
First one is Léwôz.
