Continuously trying to exceed his own limits, MARRØN employs fast rhythmics inspired by his roots. The artist’s moniker pays homage to the strong-willed MARRØN’s, a once-enslaved African tribe who defied oppression and found freedom in the primeval forests of Surinam. The hypnotic, percussive beats characterizing MARRØN’s foundational Afro Deep style have evolved to form a singular conception of techno. His dynamic take on the genre is at home in the underground, most notably in his role as co-founder and resident of Amsterdam’s Eerste Communie.

Very happy to share the recording of my live set at Stone Techno Festival last summer.  Summer was full of highlights and this show was definitely one of them, with such a great energy and crowd at the stage hosted by Fuse. 

Technology will never be able to recreate a vibe on a dancefloor (I hope), but those who were there that day know it was something very special. 
Really enjoyed this one a lot.

Berlin-native Lars Huismann is a DJ and producer recognised for his groove-driven tracks with pulsating synths. Huismann’s musical journey began at a young age, in which he was a drummer who played a range of styles from Jazz and Fusion to Progressive Metal. Huismann has performed across the world in cities such as Seoul, Sydney and Medellin. 

Huismann’s productions utilise complex percussion patterns and reflect his diverse musical influences, with certain releases incorporating elements from various sub-genres such as Detroit Techno, Industrial and Salsa. His music has released on established labels such as Mutual Rytm, Monnom Black and ARTS. This podcast is driving, intense and is analogue and timeless in its sound.

Sons Of Hidden is a live act rooted in techno, blending hardgroove with elements of jazz to create deep, polyrhythmic progressions. Their sound weaves together influences from glitch, dark jazz, bebop, hard bop, hip hop, EBM, and jungle—forming a unique, genre-crossing identity.

Their music has appeared on labels including Mammboh Rhythms (their own imprint), Index IMF, Emerald, BCCO, Positive Source, Suara, and Planet X—each reflecting different chapters of their evolving sound.

In this mix, Sons Of Hidden offers a glimpse into their upcoming releases—an experiment that draws on their jazz and hip hop roots, fused with the rhythms, instruments, and melodies of the Andes. It's a reflective journey shaped by personal transformation, where rhythm and melody become tools for exploring the relationship between inner darkness and light.

The Colombian artist and exclusive live act embodies the essence of the Law of Correspondence, tracing its origins through the alchemy of sound. A dynamic LIVE ACT rooted in classic techno, with fusions and polyrhythmic progressions drawing influences from glitch, dark-jazz, bebop, break beats, hip hop, and jungle. Their performances explore deep, textural techno inspired by tribal cultures and hidden emotions, merging rhythm with auditory storytelling, such as field recordings combined with synth-based soundscapes. They blend diverse influences like Andean instruments and landscapes, rituals, and grooves, shaping an immersive sonic experience with a unique identity. SOH invites listeners to explore deep states of consciousness, using music as a
medium for introspection and connection.

This live set was recorded at Transition in Armenia, CO and is the perfect example of the Sons Of Hidden power.
