Temudo is a key figure in contemporary Techno, known for his unique sound that blends the genre's soul with a modern, unorthodox approach. His ability to maintain a distinct signature while expressing various moods has earned him recognition from labels like Klockworks, Blueprint, Soma, and Warm Up. As a DJ, he delivers fast-paced, eclectic sets that seamlessly mix tracks from different eras. Temudo is also a co-founder of Hayes and runs Tema Mastering.

In this 184th episode, we explore a selection of tracks chosen by Temudo, known for their minimalistic touch that he currently enjoys mixing. Temudo is part of a new generation of artists whose work relies on the contemporary approach to Techno. His music allies the soul of the genre with a modern methodology, and has the seal of genre defining labels like Klockworks, Soma, Modularz, Mord or Clergy. He’s one of the minds behind Hayes and runs his own Mastering Studio: Tema Mastering.

João describes himself as a nerd for audio processing, composing techniques and solving puzzles in the pursuit of the perfect mix. His background in Jazz, a Degree in Sound and a Master Degree in Music and Technology gave him the tools for the unorthodox experiments he takes in the studio. It is fair to say that Temudo is one the Portuguese Techno main characters.

ANNĒ is a key figure in Greece’s techno scene, fully dedicated to her craft as a DJ and producer. Her sound is shaped by strong influences from Detroit and the raw energy of ’90s and ’00s techno.

Her DJ sets are high-energy and dynamic, designed to create a deep connection with the dance floor. As a producer, she has released on respected labels like Hardgroove, Symbolism, Mutual Rytm, NECHTO, CROWD, and Soma Records. Her tracks are regularly played and charted by major artists, and with multiple vinyl releases and collaborations on the horizon, she continues to push forward.

For this special mix for our BCCO x ÜBERKIKZ takeover for International Women's Day, ANNĒ has curated a selection of tracks by talented FLINTA* producers, highlighting their exceptional work. The journey begins with deeper, introspective sounds before building into a vibrant, groovy energy. A departure from her usual style, this mix allowed her to explore new directions while keeping the flow dynamic.
