As the known purveyors of Total Death, VAULT OF DRIED BONES inaugurates their first complete offering with Manipura Imperial Deathevokovil (Scriptures of Reversed Puraana Dharmurder) the initiatory full-length album from Sri Lankan terrorists GENOCIDE SHRINES. The bone-dust has settled from 2012's Devanation Monumentemples EP and the slit throats are still hemorrhaging from the Mahabharat Terror Attack split with countrymen Manifestor, but the anti-Dharmic death call has been issued once again for there are still skulls to be crushed!

A line has been drawn in the sand. Choose your allegiance carefully. For GENOCIDE SHRINES are a piercing trishul thrust into the heart of the dogmatic weakling. A burning hatred guides the striking blow at the golden tower looming overhead. There is no time for over-wrought melodies or wheel-reinventing complexity when a cleansing eradication is the modus operandi. Whether it be by spiritual fire or firing squad – the message is clear: Fall in line or suffer at the hands of the reclaimers!

The balance between black Dharmic inversion and a swift rifle-butt to the face has been struck once again. Continuing the established tradition set forth, the loose mania of previous executions has sharpened into a spear-point. Hasty formlessness echoing the peers of old has given away in favour of a militant precision and chaotic, sickening tones. Volley after volley of razor-sharp gun blasts provide rhythmic terror as a well-oiled machine hammers away. Commandments issue forth intolerance from a place of morbidity, calling for the fall of the ultimate enslaver. Truly a DEATH METAL essence has found a foothold in the ideology of the enemies of the Manushya race! Using the cultural weapons of the enemy against him, GENOCIDE SHRINES strikes at the ignorance of the blissfully unaware with a keen perspective of their own DEATH. One step ahead of the herd. After 11 years of defiling the underground, Canada's Necroholocaust deliver their long-awaited debut album, Holocaustic Goat Metal. One of Canada's best-kept secrets, Necroholocaust honor their country's venerable tradition of blackgrinding ultra-violence, as established by gods of war Blasphemy and Conqueror, as well as other foundational bands like Archgoat and Germany's Blood. Uniquely, Necroholocaust began as a studio-only project that utilized a primitive, pulsing drum-machine. Ever aptly titled, Herzogian Darkness is a shadowy plunge into strange, shapeshifting depths. It is recognizably black metal by sound and vision - and, more or less, by name - but the febrile sensations these mysterious Poles emit elude safe 'n' staid categorization. Not for nothing do MEDICO PESTE here transform Bauhaus' classic "Stigmata Martyr" into one of their own, idiosyncratic creations.

MEDICO PESTE's history goes back to the winter of 2010, when they formed in Krakow, Poland. A demo followed the next year before their debut album, א: Tremendum et Fascinatio, in 2012. There, MEDICO PESTE portrayed a vision of black metal which incorporates dark and oppressive atmospheres, created through dysharmonic riffing, eerie vocals, and a taste for insanity and the macabre. And yet, the band's sound is always evolving, and while strongly rooted in traditional black metal, MEDICO PESTE inject elements of non-metal genres into their music, vividly painted across their brand-new Herzogian Darkness. Four songs in 27 minutes, these grim, crazed rituals are the newest face to a mask that is cracked but always spinning sinister thoughts, leering with the knowingness that the future's wide open yet infinitely bleak - that a Herzogian Darkness is on the horizon.
