Vävordsaria

Poetic and innovatory musical drama by Stefan Klaverdal and Lisa Hansson, evolving from the sound, feeling and rhythm in hand weaving. A fragmentary story, blending today with history, is created out of weaving. The music ranges from experimental sounds to opera, electronica and swedish folk music. It's sung, read and played with voice, string instruments being woven in, sensor-controlled children’s looms and computers. The sound work is tightly interwoven with the visual consisting of textiles, instruments, weaving objects and video projections.
