This Week with Florian Meindl. Florian Meindl is a DJ, producer and sound designer. In addition to numerous collaborations with international artists he is busy with producing remixes (for Röyksopp & Hot Chip...), running his label FLASH Recordings and has successfully completed his BA studies at the London College of Music. He also writes articles about music production in magazines like “FutureMusic” and runs his own highly successful loops & sample label “Riemann Kollektion”. 2012 Florian released his debut Album WAVES and in 2013 he produced an expansion pack for Native Instruments MASCHINE. Just now he released Flash 100, a compilation to celebrate the 100th release on his Flash imprint.

Thuistival 2025 was an amazing day. The atmosphere was perfect and the energy in the air was palpable. Thuistival 2025, the event that everyone had been talking about for months, was finally here. As a resident DJ, I got the chance to play two sets together with my partner in Love "Justin K" and it was truly a dream come true. The vibe and energy that came from it was unprecedented. 

The organization was, as always, arranged down to the last detail
The location was breathtaking. A beautiful indoor space, surrounded by greenery, where people could let go and enjoy the music. The lighting and sound technology will not be out of place at many large well-known festivals. Everyone was dancing, laughing, and enjoying the moment, the perfect vibe that makes Thuistival so special. 

What made it even more special were the other DJs. We were not just colleagues, but friends who shared an unforgettable experience together. It was clear that this edition was a milestone. Thuistival was not just any festival; it had become a concept, a place where people felt at home and where the music was always central.

The people who were there – the audience – made the party complete. They gave so much energy back, that as a DJ you could only enjoy and continue. Every beat, every transition, was a moment of connection between us, and that made the day so unique. Thank you all and i see you next year.

DJ Aviva is a DJ project by Simon Weber, a musician and producer who covers many areas of electronic music. He is a member of the psytrance producers "Silent Sphere" and is associated with the largest psytrance label in the world. Now, he is launching his solo project in melodic progressive trance or melodic techno. His DJ sets are structured to steadily build up, featuring atmospheric and groovy sounds and beats with profound vocals. What an amazing experience I had playing the Waldeck stage at Mit Dir Festival in Friedland, Germany. With such stellar artist care, killer sound from Lambda Labs and Allen & Heath, plus getting to perform on my favorite Xone:96 - I couldn't have been more stoked and comfortable up there. I had an absolute blast raving with you all...it was the perfect way to end this summer's Germany tour. The energy you all brought to the dancefloor made this performance one of my all time favorites. I have to confess, that special energy I felt is one that I've often felt can only exist on a festival forest floor. It's a magical transfer of energy between dancefloor and performer...making us all one and the same - creatures raving together under the moonlight, independent of stress/anxiety/sadness/anger or anything else that brings us down...and just effortlessly feeling the psychedelic groove and that techno drive. Together. 

I want to extend a special thank you to the Mit Dir Festival crew, the Waldeck stage management and artist care, and Sören for inviting me out to such a cool event <3

A Tribute to Boom Festival 2025

Boom Festival 2025 was our very first time and it was a truly magical experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt something shift inside us. Boom entered our bodies, our minds, our hearts and it will never leave.

We fully immersed ourselves in everything Boom had to offer: the music, the atmosphere, the art, the deep connection to nature, and most of all the incredibly warm, open-hearted people. The love and energy we felt from everyone around us was beyond words.

One stage in particular stole our hearts: the Alchemy Circle. The vibrations, the music journeys, the artists we discovered there, it all left a deep imprint on our souls. Much of our music originates from the hallowed grounds of Boom. That's why it was a blessing to now experience this music up close as a dancer, as a Boomer ! 

Inspired by that experience, we decided to join forces and create a tribute mix dedicated to the Alchemy stage. It features new tracks from DJs we witness live and felt amazed during those unforgettable days & nights. Each track is a memory, a feeling, a piece of that transformational week.

Boom was not just a festival, it was a gateway, a pulse, a profound reminder of what it means to connect. We’re endlessly grateful to have been part of it. This tribute is our way of saying thank you and to say hi again to all fellow Boomers who where there !!

Victor Ezcurdia is one of the best known and respected DJ ́s in the electronic music scene in Mexico and is now consolidating a very important name worldwide. With more than 100 shows outside of his country, Vazik has broken frontiers with his music and sets. From Berlin to Sao Paulo, from Ibiza to San Francisco, his name has reached countless clubs and festivals.

On 2003 and 2011 he was recognized as the “Best Dj of the Year” in Mexico. On 2012 he was recognized as “Best Tech House DJ” in Mexico too. He is the man behind the loved record label Sounds of Earth.

With outstanding releases on labels like Flash Recordings, Flow Records, Maktub Music, Spring Tube, Plastik Park and many more, Vazik has developed a unique style; a dynamic, groovy, deep and hypnotic fusion of genres that perfectly fits in any kind of club or open-air festival.

He teamed up with 2up and created the acclaimed project UV, their style is full of emotion and quality; their live set is a bomb! He is also producing alongside Jabba under the name of Bienmesabe. He likes to do special back-to-back sessions with the Mexican legend Tini Tun, together they have shared the booth with artists like John Digweed, Nick Warren, etc.

His monthly Sounds of Earth podcast deliver some of the top-notch sounds around the globe. His Berlin / Mexico City residence is now a key into his international exposure. He is now part of Transitions booking agency, alongside names like Dnox & Beckers, Khainz, etc.

Vazik is a 24/7 man, when he is not touring he is in the studio or producing outstanding events in his homeland (The Picnic, Radiance Festival, etc.). He is deep into music and he has the magic to share it when he is behind the decks. When we talk about Vazik, we definitely have to say VIVA MEXICO!
