DJ Rou is a multifaceted and charismatic artist, DJ, producer and beatmaker, as well as a key figure in the panorama of Italian underground clubbing, as he’s the founder of Archivio180 record store.

Born in 1991, she has collaborated and published throughout his career singles and EPs with important Italian and international labels such as Bosconi Records, Cognitiva Records, Ax On Wax and Robsoul Jazz.

You can expect the unexpected as we can identify him as one of the most eclectic DJs we have ever known, thanks to his enormous background and his ability to switch between completely different musical genres with an unique touch and sensibility.
The energy he transmits to all the people, the ability to create an almost palpable connection between him, his records and the crowd who dance to his music.

We're excited to bring this thoroughbred breeder to our podcast series!

Our twelfth episode comes from none other than Marco Pellegrino aka Ancut. Marco runs the Discarded Gems label, but his connection with OTG stems from his incredibly dedicated work as the founder of Analogcut Mastering Studio, where he works as the main mastering engineer and lacquer cutter.  Needless to say, he is one of the central figures in our operation, a trusted friend who always keeps a low profile but delivers quality in his craft and music, both as a DJ and as a producer. This set was recorded live at the last Superluminal vs Discarded Gems event in Berlin.

It would seem that there was something in the water in Italy during the tail end of the 70s and the beginning of the 80s. We recently highlighted this via our recent Free Download artist, but another Italian artist who is just as influential is Francesco Farfa. Incredibly, he was already a working DJ by the early 80s and that was before the age of electronic music. This just meant when the advent of drum machines dawned across the music spectrum Francesco was already armed to the teeth with skills honed playing funk and disco when early proto-house began filtering through to Europe. Flyuko's story began in London, where he and his flatmates joined forces to create the Planete 51 collective.
With a keen ability to effortlessly blend different styles and create a captivating atmosphere, a vibe, Fabio's selection is a treasure trove of tracks from the 2000s and 2010s, showcasing a rich tapestry of deep, emotive, melancholy and funk sounds.
Despite his young age, this young discog addict has amassed thousands of records over the last few years, making for a very extensive and eclectic record library, playing them with a master's hand!

This one is for the deep & "miminal mignonne" lovers!

Our first podcast of 2025, and who better to kick things off than enigmatic French duo International Mac & Tau Car. As one third of the 192gmbh crew, Mac has been spinning dancefloors on heads for years with his endless supply of shapeshifting, bargain bin goodness. Based in Berlin, the crews YouTube channel and Reptilian Mix series have garnered cult like status amongst a certain vintage of off-kilter dance music fans. More recently Tau Car has emerged from the Risky Bookings family into the limelight with some seriously classy mixes. 

Playing Dimensions for the first time in '24, the joy of their Beach Stage set was matched by the pairs smiles beaming from boats to dancefloors for the rest of the weekend. We're delighted to host their first ever podcast recorded together.
