Without a doubt one of the hardest working creatives in the new breed that is now coming of age Venezuelan artist mari.te has more strings to her bow than an orchestra. Her label Tresydos has graced our pages many times and is already up to the sixth edition as well as three digital VA’s. She is also part of the women-only record label and collective RA+RE that joins their mutual love for music, fashion and that the girls are more than capable of smashing it out with the boys.

Tying into the obvious skills she has behind the decks mari.te is also resident for NYC underground haven ReSolute and is regularly called upon the warm the dance planks to the point of combustion. A prime example of this is her mix for our InSession podcast series where she rolls out blissful house beats, boisterous breaks, and more than a couple of tear-jerking basslines. This is not to be missed…

More summer moments are on the way, and these ones are as just unique as you can get. It may be for the music, or it may be for the exclusive location in Zanzibar for a special Zanzibiza x Pyramid event, but this 2-hours set will definitely leave you speechless. In charge of the night, Tripmastaz showed all his skills behind the decks with an incredible track selection that only featured old gems from the past (1986-1994) full of big-sounding raw grooves and contagious energy. Enough talking, let the music play!

GH012 podcast comes from John Dimas and is fueled by a strong sentimental value - it was recorded at Parker Lewis’s club closing party in January 2020. We can only imagine how their final chapter was both utterly special and emotionally charged, while we are thrilled to share some of the last tunes played on one of the best German dancefloors. 

Well executed and richly varied, GH012 shows Dimas' full range. The mix opens up seductively with Speedlearn produced by Higher Intelligence Agency, while later on Ex-Terrestrial’s Mojave Skyline casts a spell and pins down one of the recording’s peak moments. The ever-shifting rhythmic systems are a knotted marvel surgically mixed, the overall effect being transcendental.  Enjoy this trip towards very rewarding territory.

Reiss has a unique charm behind the decks, using rhythms and soundscapes in surprising combinations that create unmistakeable atmospheres for dance floors and headphones alike. For mix 221 in our series we get an exquisite example of this signature sound and a brief insight into his extensive record collection.

Reiss has been a pivotal figure of the Amsterdam house and techno underground for quite some time and is a close affiliate of the VBX crew DJing regularly at their events and releasing on the VBX label in collaboration with Ferro, under their Spokenn moniker. Now focussing on music full-time, we're looking forward to hearing more from Reiss.
